Katja met us right on our expected arrival time and showed us everything, she brought beautiful flowers with her and explained how to operate anything we needed. She is lovely and genuinely cares about the quality of your stay, easy to contact and communicate with and available at all times. Parking is off the street which is busy but everywhere is due to the design of the narrow streets, this is not a problem you have an allocated parking space at the entrance of the building. The apartment three on the top floor is exactly as good as it looks on booking.com, it is modern, spotless, well appointed , great wifi, everything works, washing machine and aircon with full size fridge freezer. The views were so good we only ate out once in 5 days as we did not want to miss any time looking at the fortress and the old town, amazing at night. Perfect for couples , spacious so comfortable to come back to every day. Secure, soundproofed quiet space, the balcony area is small however you don't need it as you have 180 degree view inside from your panoramic windows. You can watch the boats come in every day its lovely . We did a lot of research and decided against staying in Split its an enormous city and its enough to go for the day. Trogir is super special and Apartment Maria is the best place in town to enjoy it. Also only 2 minutes walk to town, at least 4 large supermarkets in town and great daily market and bakeries. There was absolutely nothing to dislike. Everything was perfectly wonderful in this gorgeous apartment and town directly in front of the kamerlengo fortress and the most charming town complete with church bells. Our advice would be to stay here instead of Split and enjoy the peace and beauty of Trogir without the crowds and noise. Easier and safer to park and shop and eat. We would love to return to this amazing place. Thank you Katja
