What a awful host never met her at apartments she sent her brother down to give us keys we did reserved airport transfer she called to say her uncle was picking us up he was in a silver Opel could we look for him in car park?????also we booked one bedroom apartment e balcony didn't get one for 754 euro the price is shocking paid less got better she doesn't tell you you share a front door with your neighbors also washing machine and dryer no information to tell you how to get to places shower leaks maybe that's why we had lots of towel's I go abroad 3 time's per year and can honestly say she's the most rude I have ever came across wouldn't recommend this place to anyone she's only interested in the money.plus you have to take taxi to town centre split is beautiful just wish we stayed somewhere else

RUDE!!!!!

Stayed here for 5 days. On arrival we were informed by the girl who greeted us that the 2 bedroom apartment was "no longer available" so we were downgraded to a 1 bedroom apartment with no offer of any compensation. When we queried this they said they'd given us free parking in the secure car park instead but that was actually already included with our booking for the 2 bed place. We didn't bother arguing as we are a couple and 1 bedroom was ok but this could have been very awkward for anyone else. We were then hounded for payment for the rest of the day. We promised to have cash available once we'd been to an ATM that evening but we received several messages on our phone throughout the afternoon asking when we would have it!!
The apartment was quite nice and clean but it appeared to be someone's actual home. We later found out that they had received a better offer from a corporate company for the original 2 bedroom place we had booked hence why it "wasn't available".
The apartment block is in a very grubby area with large, filthy bins outside the front. It's a good 50 minute walk to the city centre and you will pass many dirty, rough areas with every wall covered in graffiti. Do not believe anyone or anything that tells it you it will take less time as we walk fast! The local bus stops outside but is not very regular. There is a supermarket beneath the block which is fairly good but quite expensive too. The beach opposite is also quite run-down and not particularly attractive to sunbathe on swim in.
On our last day we were bombarded with phone calls (which we answered at our expense!) The girl who managed the apartment kept accusing us of taking the garage remote control. We searched our hand luggage even though we knew we had left it with her brother who saw us out. Eventually as we were about to board she called to say the brother had found it. It was very frustrating dealing with this family. On returning home we complained to booking.com who arranged a refund of part of the cost we paid because we had been downgraded.


An ok apartmant in a run-down area with cheating managers.

Between not getting the room we reserved, no warm and or hot water…and the second room we were taken to---with the noise level of all of the folks on the street---stayed the night, and checked into another hotel.
