The apartment was a good size with 2 rooms, each with a kitchen and bathroom.  The decor and fittings in the apartment were a bit tired - the colourful decoration wasn't really to our taste but some may find it fun.  We had a problem with the terrace doors in that they wouldn't open properly - we did manage to resolve this eventually.  Unfortunately we had a powercut on the last night and although the apartment had candles - no matches!  The apartment was a fair price for our stay and we would give our experience an average rating for standard.

We visited in high season and found that Ciovo was very busy - getting off the island took up to 1.5hrs.  We explored the other side of the island and found nicer beaches.  Recommend the boat trip to Trogir as the restaurants were nicer than those found on Ciovo and a trip to Krka is a must to swim in the waterfalls. We spent our first week on Brac in the resort of Bol and would highly recommend staying there.  Not sure that we would come back to Ciovo.

OK - Good sized apartment

My familly spend two weeks in lovely villa Sunrise and have had a great time.Villa is near beach and has very nice swimming pool.Owner was very helpful at the beginning of our stay and made everything for us to make our stay conformtable.After that we have had our time for relaxing.After that first day we did not see owners anymore but everything was very good organized.Fresh towells and bedlinen waited for us,swimming pool was well maintained.We liked our privacy a lot.Kids have had a great time.

There is a wifi in villa,it is very good option and it is free and unlimited.In some parts of the day it was slower.

Traffic to Trogir can be really bad in some parts of the day but there is also a boat line and we used it to skip it and get to Trogir old town for a dinner.

Overall this is good place to stay and very quiet area even in high season.

Superb villa and friendly owner

I was confused with some informations from previous reviews and did not know exactly what to expect.But I liked what I saw on photos and decided to book it.

Villa fullfiled all our expectations.We have had stunning sea view from our apartment and all this area is very quiet.So quiet that we enjoyed birds songs in the mornings by the pool.Someone before mentioned airplanes but during our stay (two weeks) we did not see or heard any.But we saw that their landing rout is above old town of Trogir (about 4 km far away) so there it can be a problem maybe.

Beach situated near villa is one of the best ones in this area.We have tried some others too but  returned to this one.There were always people on that beach but it is nearly impossible to find such a nice beach just for you in high season

Excellent place for relaxing familly holidays

We stayed here recently as two couples for a week - we had two apartments with a connecting internal door which worked well for us but we would not be happy staying in a single apartment on its own.

Pros:
The swimming pool and terrace area was great to cool off after a day at the beach and has a lovely view.
There are a few good (standard fish/meat/pizza) restaurants nearby.
Air conditioning worked well.
It was a good, comfortable, clean apartment, albeit a little tired and lacking quality furnishings, also brightly painted.
Balcony was small but useful for drying wet clothes and gave a pretty good view over the area and water.
Full sized fridge and freezer.

Cons:
Location - the apartment is in Ciovo.  This is an insanely busy area in high season. The local beach is a 5 min walk down the hill and a very hot 10 min walk up, even when fit. The local beaches are small and crowded.  A walk at 8am showed that most of the beach area has already been reserved by people who have left bed mats/towels with rocks on them overnnight to reserve their space, even though there is hardly anybody at the beach yet!  Even throughout the day these mats remain here and some owners don't show up to use them.  Have seen this in Europe but not to the extent of Ciovo.
There are limited areas for people to walk to the shops/restaurants so most are on the narrow roads with the cars dodging in and out.
Saturday is the travel day for the whole 'island'. We left early to avoid the 11am rush but it still took us over 1 hr 40 mins to travel 2km to get off the island which is only serviced by one bridge. We saw huge traffic delays here for no apparent reason.
The apartment is difficult to find even with a GPS as the street numbers are not in order. A local map would have been handy.
Apartment - The apartment was not well equipped - no dish washing detergent/cloths, no bin bags, only two wine glasses for four people etc.  
Wifi was frustrating - we had to sit on the steps outside the apartment most of the time to use it. There is a laptop in the foyer but this was incredibly slow so was not used.

Would we stay here again?
Probably not. Whilst this seems like a negative review the apartment worked ok for us so if the things mentioned here dont bother you the apartment could be perfect. 
We found the beach at Slatine to be fantastic and spent two days here. We would probably look for somewhere nearer to Slatine instead.

Mixed feelings about this apartment...

We enjoyed a two week stay in apartment Royale on the first floor which consisted of two rooms both with their own bathrooms and small kitchen facility . The larger of the two rooms had a balcony just big enough for the 3 of us to sit out and eat and had a lovely view over the local beach. The second room had a very small balcony. As one large apartment it was great but would not book them separately . It was situated with a 5 minute walk to the local beach which although small was pretty , lovely sea and friendly . A 15 min walk to the main beach where we caught the boat taxi to Trogir . There are 2 local restaurants within 5 mins walk both of which served lovely food and a small supermarket round the corner. The owners were very helpful. The pool was very clean . Would recommend it .
