Arrived here on 4th august for a 10 day holiday that my girlfriend chose. The welcoming from Ivan (apartment landlord) was professional and incredibly helpful. He helped carry our luggage up to our room as there was a few flights of stairs and welcomed us into our apartment. He straight away began telling us where things were, how things worked, where to get to places of interest and which transportation to take to make things easier for us. He's a gentleman. The apartment was clean, tidy, well equipped with household requirements, nice comfy bed, air con was a bonus after climbing the stairs, was beautiful! The view from balcony was very pretty with a perfect view of the sunset. Nela (ivan's wife) also a very polite and helpful landlady, took care of cleanliness and changing bed sheets etc, even told us more sites to see if we were interested and asked us how things were going. They both have an apartment above all the renting apartments so if you needed help, they were seconds away which felt comforting. As for transport, the main bus station is a 5 min walk with a 10 min bus trip or its a 45 minute walk to old city. Staying in Ivan and Nela's residence didnt feel like a holiday, it felt more like a home. They have been more then helpful towards us, very polite, friendly and always smiling. If and when we return to dubrovnik, we will be booking with them again. Made our 10 days that extra bit more brilliant. Thank You
