My spouse and I stayed at this beautiful B&B for one night on our way from the Airport to La Fortuna. The location is fantastic - up in the mountains. Kim was a fantastic host and provided us with detailed directions which we needed! As mentioned the last 600 metres is pretty intense but certainly doable. Just better in the daytime for sure! We booked a simple room with just a king size bed and pre-ordered dinner with Kim. It was delicious and served on the balcony. We arrived a little after dark as we were delayed but Kim was very accommodating. In the morning we had a better view of the valley below. A fantastic, secluded spot - I would highly recommend it. Especially if you need a place to stay near the airport. It is only about an hour away. Thank you Kim! Pura Vida!

A restful stay in the mountains!

Location and view was perfect.  Kim, David and their family were warm and welcoming.  Breakfast was a beautiful treat served on the patio with view of Pacific, birds and butterfly's.  Felt very safe with David driving and Kim's tours.  Perfect.

AWESOME TRIP

This B n B is absolutely lovely. Has an incredible view over the valley and mountains, and is peaceful and beautiful. Accommodations were excellent, and I can't speak highly enough about the treatment I got from the owners Kim and David. They were beautifully accommodating. As for the breakfasts, they were sumptuous! If you want to stay somewhere in the Central Valley, stay here!

Terrific location, terrific hosts

This is a new 3 bedroom 2 bath build for the bed and breakfast.  Since it was new there were a couple of items that they are working through (consistent flow of hot water).  I would not hesitate to stay here again.  Kim and David were great.

Perfect views, great location.

We stayed at Vista Valverde and took advantage of their house tour to help us check out the area as we are moving to Costa Rica.  The tour was fabulous - we saw a number of homes and Kim was a wealth of information about the area and moving.  The breakfast was wonderful, the family and dogs friendly!  The casita where we stayed was just the right size, with a kitchen if we needed.  There is the option of another bedroom if needed.  Highly recommend this BnB for vacation as well as for scouting out places to live!  San Ramon is an interesting, less touristy area with decent restaurants.  

Beautiful view; cute little house; helpful hosts.

It was a nice little house we rented for the month but they didn't have sufficient dishes to cook. I had to purchase my own frying pan because theirs was a disaster. Had to ask for storage containers to put food in the fridge. It was very windy and at times we were chilly in March. No extra blankets. Mostly just physically uncomfortable there. The shower was hot then cold then hot and you couldn't control it. The furniture was hard and you had no place to sit that was comfortable either.  We left the house in good order. The cleaning lady was not always available and I had to clean the floor on my hands and knees with a rag, one I happened to have with me as there was nothing available. There wasn't even a broom.  We when we left Kim gave us a ride to the bus station. She was very friendly and we had made an agreement that she would send me my $250 deposit shortly via PayPal. She never sent the deposit back and when I wrote her a note about it she said she got busy and forgot and would send it.. Several notes late to her and no response from her. She is a thief that will look you straight in the eye and lie to you and of course we really have no recourse as we live so far away.  We left a table we had purchased for her cleaning lady for her daughter who is an artist.. since we are artists too and we used it to paint on we thought they could make good use of it.. Now I wonder if  she ever received it....My best recommendation is DON'T GO THERE!  THEY ARE NOT HONEST PEOPLE!
