3 reviewsWe only stayed overnight at this hotel after spending a day touring Mt Emei region. This is a modern and high-rise hotel with lovely views of the surrounds including a bridge in the distance that resembled a mini coat hanger like the Sydney harbour bridge and a huge public park just opposite the hotel entrance. The hotel room was spacious and clean with nice views. Buffet breakfast was excellent with great varieties of the local cuisine – the glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves; steamed buns; congee, noodles, etc and restaurant has very elegant table settings and wide windows for guests to enjoy the superb views of the river and park nearby. The hotel is conveniently located at the town centre and every morning the locals gather to do tai chi, group dancing, etc at the huge park next to the hotel. Some exercise bikes at the park installed for the public are popular amongst the younger folk. The fresh morning air, the relaxing atmosphere and the scenic water view really motivated the locals to keep fit and healthy and enhance their livelihood. This is one of the best 5* hotel resorts we have visited and definitely will visit again.
