Jingdezhen is a very interesting historical Chinese town - known for beautiful ceramics and pottery. But, it is poor. The Highwell Hotel is a very clean and modern (by Chinese standards) hotel. Room rates are the equivalent of about $50 USD for a very large, king-bed room with fantastic shower. The breakfast was perfectly fine. It's Chinese food, of course, so don't fret the Western food wish that some Western TripAdvisor reviewers suffer. Go enjoy the most beautiful ceramics and pottery in the world. Come back to a hot shower and clean, comfortable room. It's all good!
