27 reviewsWe were very pleased that we changed our plans and had 1 night in Casablanca and especially that we chose Umawtu for that night. Andrea is a lovely hostess and made us feel very welcome- even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift. The letting accommodation is actually a 3 bed roomed bungalow with each of the rooms being let to different guests and sharing a central area with sitting room and kitchen. We actually had the whole place to ourselves so could make ourselves a hot drink in the evening and, when we woke up early, we could make coffee and take it back to bed. It felt just like home! There were breakfast items in the fridge so we actually expected to get ourselves breakfast. It was a complete surprise when Lorena came in and started to prepare it for us! She brought in fresh, warm rolls and cold meat to add to the cereal, yogurt, cheese, jams and spreads that were already there. We had a very pleasant breakfast,maybe it that Lorena spoke no English and we spoke no Spanish! Andrea told us that people come as guests and leave as friends. We experienced that warmth and would return if we were ever in the area.
