Absolutely loved our stay here .

Fantastic location , just 5 mins away from airport ( no noise ). On the beach which is stunning.
Very clean , the staff never seem to stop. 
Our room was spotless, we had a closed bathroom which was immaculate.
The bed was huge and very comfortable.
Optics in the room - whiskey , gin , brandy and rum . 
Fridge full - large bottles of water , tonic water , Fanta, Coke Zero , sprite and coke. Cans of larger.
Tea and coffee facilities ( you just need to get milk from restaurants if you use it) 
Fridge restocked regularly.  There’s an ice machine on the ground floor of all accommodation blocks. Nice touch.

Pools - 2 bar pools - 2 large pools and 1 small one where activities take place . The team again do not stop ! Very friendly and not pushy. 

Bars - there’s plenty . Mainly local alcohol. Cocktails- if you don’t see on list just ask them and if they have ingredients they will make it.

Food - day time choice of pool area ( for a quick bite eg burgers / chips etc…) or the restaurant by the pools which is buffet style and a good variety, alternatively the main restaurant where there’s even more variety.

Evening meal - buffet style , main restaurant or you can book the speciality restraints via the app. We managed to book the Asian one , which is buffet style and fab. Also managed the gourmet one which is waiter service and absolutely amazing , we really felt this was a nice treat . 

The hotel sent us bottles of fizz to celebrate special occasions which was a nice touch .

This was our first time in adults only hotel and our first time in Cape Verde , it won’t be our last!

No stress No regrets !

Absolutely fantastic time at the Karamboa.
Food fabulous, staff all really helpful, fooms spotless and serviced daily.
The beach is amazing and all the many pools are clean.
The hotel is 10 mins from the airport so really quickntransfer
Definitely give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and they honestly couldn’t do enough for you, there was a bottle of champagne congratulating us on our honeymoon and I messaged the front desk mid week to say it was my husband’s birthday and they put another bottle in our room with a note to say happy birthday from the front desk! The staff are super friendly and they never stop, nothing is too much for them. The food was amazing and you can eat and drink all day long. Plenty of entertainment and the neon part was epic! 

Amazing honeymoon

We’ve have enjoyed our honeymoon stay in this hotel. Everything was great! Room was clean, Own Minibar in room refilled every second day! Thumbs up!

Had a fabulous holiday. The food, friendly staff in all job roles, cleanliness, animation team, cleaners, champagne and restaurant booking for birthday. In our room the cleaner decorated the bed every day. We had optics in our room and the fridge was well stocked. Easy to order drinks on the app.

Sunshine and paradise

This hotel really is lovely - as relaxing or exciting as you want it to be and in the most beautiful of locations. The best bits - RIU party on the Friday night, aquafit and the Caribbean blue cocktail!

Excellent holiday

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Great sized rooms, very varied and delicious food and brilliant enertainment. Plenty of sunbeds around the 5 pools, and also plenty of coffee stations where you can help yourself to coffee and sodas 24 hours a day. Daytime activities were very good. 
We will go back.

Fantastic hotel

From the sandy white beach next to the hotel and the crystal blue ocean, through to the friendly staff and ample amenities, this was a great holiday. Staff were all great, entertainment in the hotel was well produced if not really to my taste. Each room has it's own mini bar fridge and a set of 4 optics with local rum, gin, vodka and whisky, all included; we were provided with large bottles of water, along with coke, fanta, sprite and tonic water to the room. 

There were plenty pf places to sunbathe or seek shade if that is your preference. You can get food any time you like, there is always somewhere open. The sports bar is air conditioned and open 24 hours with many TVs and a pool table and football table, and they have a fridge of cold snacks and burgers / hotdogs you can heat in the microwave. 

Rooms were always clean and restocked. The gym there is a great little gym and I was able to work out everything I wanted, even without weight plates and bars. They also have a steam room and plunge pool that were great post workout (shower before you go in obviously)

You're only a 10 euro ride away from the capital of Boa Vista, I recommend visiting the pier near Té Manché bar if you want a really local experience, and Sodade Casa da Cultura is a great visit if you want a place to eat and drink with oodles of character and history. Vendors are a little pushy, but I've had much worse in other places, and they were all very friendly and non threatening. But you will be told be everyone that you are their first customer of the day, and that they will give you the best price :) Our taxi driver told us to never pay more than half of what their first offer is.  

I'd go back in a heartbeat. It was so refreshing to have a hotel without children, it really helped us to relax and find some peace together as a couple.
