This place is amazing. Went there with my parents and my girlfriend in early April and it was perfect. We've travel a lot, but I can safely say I have never been anywhere else like this. Edy is the most wonderful host, she got in touch with me before our arrival to enquire about any eating allergies. I've been following an SCD diet which is quite restrictive but she is an incredible cook and accommodated my diet extremely well with delicious meals! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax, eat well and get great massages. Thank you again Edy and Louis.

My girlfriend and I visited Edy and Louis Pierre's Serenita Spa on the first week of May 2015. It was the beginning of the summer season and the ice had only recently melted. We arrived and Louis Pierre kindly showed us our room, and explained how everything worked. He then prepared the kayaks for us as we were very keen to go kayaking and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. The dinner was lovely, italian flavours for the meal (osso bucco) and a banana and chocolate cake dessert. In the evening, we were interested in going in the hot tub so Louis Pierre made sure to turn it on before we started dinner so it would be warm enough. We then got the chance to meet Edy, who, I must say - makes one of the best breakfasts I've had in a hotel. Edy is very sweet and welcoming - and once again went out of her way  to make sure everything was going well for us. At breakfast, she asked whether we preferred sweet or savoury - when we said both, so you can choose...she made BOTH!! And she also got us to try a canadian specialty (maple syrup goodness in a cone). 
When we left, she gave us two soaps that she makes herself - they were really nice and smelt wonderful. 

My word of advice is to visit their own website and to get in touch with Edy and Louis Pierre by email if you are interested in booking before you book. They will be able to give you advice, and for us, they gave us the kayaking for free! :)

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying here for one night (Saturday until Sunday). We had a wonderful time, Edy and Louis-Pierre were incredibly hospitable, very lovely people. The Auberge is beautiful, with quaint rooms, a huge stone fireplace, sauna, steam bath and hot tub. Edy is a fantastic cook, we had a very romantic supper at a candle-lit table for two on Saturday night and delicious crepes with fruit for breakfast on Sunday morning. We both can't wait to return again this summer and take full advantage of the lake and the hiking trails near by.

I'd highly recommend anyone visiting the area to stay here. It is a comfortable, welcoming place with great hosts Edy and Louis Pierre, and entertainment from visiting Olivia! The rooms are very comfortable with shared bathrooms. We booked the meal for 2 of our 3 nights - and it was delicious and very varied on both occasions. Edy is a very talented chef. The spa is great and we made use of the kayaks - trying (sadly without success) to spot beavers around the lake. And Edy is very helpful suggesting trips if you want to visit the local area.

The most amazing place!

Great retreat - amazing hosts

Great weekend!

Really beautiful and peaceful location with fabulous hosts!

First, the place is wonderful. Near to the lake, wooden house and beautiful village. 
About Serenita, we had a nice welcoming. The bed is comfortable, the bath nice and everything s very clean.
But...
We were suprised that the "Nordic Spa" was closed for winter. 
The sauna and hammam were extra fees.
There is not way to pay outside cash (really ? in 2015??)
Finally, the breakfast was ok, but nothing as expected (they were talking about local specialties...).
We had the feeling we were bothering the hosts.
