We stayed in the loft!  This is a basement-unit apartment (I will call it).  It has two bedrooms with an ensuite in each room, including sink, flush, and shower - very nicely done and updated.  The beds are comfortable, each room has its own heat/cooling system.  In the common area of the apartment, there is a large bar counter with stools, a full-size fridge, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, sink, cutlery, and basic supplies.  Each bedroom has a Nespresso as well.  Just outside the door, there is an additional kitchen for all other guests to use.  It has similar supplies, only more of them.  Bring your food and you are set to go! 

This unit also has an outside exit to the emergency staircase.

I read one review that mentioned the ceilings were only 6' tall, but that is untrue.  There is one beam across the common room that is 6' but all other ceilings in the apartment are approximately 6'5".  One of us who stayed is 6'3".

The sound between rooms is very quiet, the only sound is from the people upstairs walking around (normal).  One suggestion, bring your essentials, soap, shampoo, etc. 

The location is perfect - the Plains of Abraham is just steps away, and downtown is an easy 10-15 min walk.  Many side streets have cafes, restaurants, and Metro (grocery, wine, beer).  You can walk to the outdoor skating rink (skate rentals), cross-country ski trails, and walking paths.  It is a very active city with lots of people running, skiing, and walking.

Wonderful 3-day stay during the 70th Anniversary of the Bonhomme Carnival!  Everything we needed was there.

Overall my stay was good. I wish they were some tongs in the room to avoid walking on the cold floor.

Recently, I had a magical overnight stay in Quebec City. The historic charm of Old Quebec, cozy accommodations, and delectable local cuisine made for an unforgettable experience. Exploring the cobblestone streets, enjoying the warmth of the locals, and witnessing the city's nighttime transformation were highlights. The room, tastefully decorated, provided a comfortable retreat. Despite just one night, Quebec City's cultural richness left a lasting impression, making it a must-visit destination. Overall, it was a great choice for a memorable stay in this charming city. Highly recommended.

It’s self-check in property and it’s well maintained property even. Price wise it’s also good. Cheap and convenient. Staff is friendly and alway available for help.

Parking was a bit of a hassle - had to park off site, which was inconvenient. Beware of parking in open lot beside property. Despite being told we could park there, we discovered that we had to be out by 7:00 because it was reserved after that time. Underground parking nearby had different rates, check before going in. Door lock at back didn’t work but management was helpful getting us in at the front. Room was OK, but odd layout. Recommend outlets for charge ports, shower curtain falling apart, grout in shower needs attention. Overall, three stars.

Don't book Signature Plus. It's a low ceiling half-basement room that's ungodly moldy (the smell was almost unbearable). And the bedsheets smelled like sweat. I had a really poor night sleep as a result. In fairness, the hotel did advise me ahead of time that this was a room in a half-basement and offered a free downgrade to a standard room that's not in the basement. However, since this was a self check-in hotel with no staff onsite and I arrived fairly late in the evening, I decided to just bear with it.Don't think I'll stay here again.

No window screen to enjoy fresh air without bugs entering the room. Back door lock was broken for us to bring our luggages and had to climb the front stairs.No coffee service in the mornings. No room service for three days of our stay.

the property was clean and comfy.                                   A little more thought can be given as to how many guests are checking in to the room eg only 2 sets of towels provided for 3 guests                                                   It took a while to get a text response with the virtual response set up / but we did eventually get a response when we asked any question and the staff did make an extra effort to assist with inquiries and provisions. 5 stars out of 10. For the price, I was expecting more. First, I was surprised on arrival to find myself in front of a locked door with no one on site. After looking at the message on the door and through my email I finally found the code to enter the building and then my room.Hotels.com should make it clearer that this is a self-service guesthouse and not a hotel.I was lucky to see someone from the cleaning staff the day I got there otherwise I would not have been able to iron my shirts. She kindly provided me with the iron and ironing board, which I brought back to the cleaning cupboard. On a 7 day stay, the room was potentially partially cleaned or at least the towels were refreshed once. We had to get ourselves some toilet paper rolls and tissue paper again from the cleaning cupboard after half our stay because those were not replenished. The opening mechanism of one of two windows was broken. And having an open window was a must during our stay because the room smelled weird, like an old aunt or granny's room. Potentially a mixture of the ancient A/C, the carpeted floor and the drywall putty that wasn't sanded nor painted around the window alcove (presumably to repair some previous damage).They only have 3 small parking spaces next to the building. Since no one is there on site, I emailed the management to see if I could pay for one parking space. I got a negative response 2 days later. The positive: the building is close to the city center/old town.
