Didn't end up staying. The photos on booking.com were very deceiving. The first unit we were offered was shabby and badly in need of renovation. The 'renovated' unit had only the kitchen renovated. Buyer beware.

I said I would stay here again... and I will say it again. I will stay here again! Our place this time was even better. A little bigger, cozy, very well stocked and great location for what we wanted. Decor was casual and had personality, unlike some cookie cutter places I have stayed. Loved the throw cushions, comfy chairs and fireplace. Used the hot tub this time, it was great :) There is a lock up for skis/outdoor gear. If you accidentally lock your key in your room after office hours... a staff will come to your rescue with a smile. Highly recommend you stay here :)

Cozy and convenient

What a terrific place!!  We have stayed at dozens of condos over the years and have never been in one so spacious and comfortable at such a reasonable price.  The view from the balcony is lovely, steps from some great hiking and biking trails and just a few minutes from town.  We weren’t expecting much from a ski resort in the summer but were pleasantly surprised.  I was stunned at how well the kitchen was supplied with dishes, glasses, cutlery, pots, pans, and implements, it had absolutely everything we needed!! The pool and hot tub are well maintained and the grounds are tidy.  To top it off the staff are so friendly and welcoming!  I can’t thank Sherri enough for her timely responses to our questions before, during and after our stay.  Can’t wait to return!!

Amazing customer service and accommodations!

The best thing about this place is the location to the Kimberley ski resort.  This is a ski-in and ski-out residence that we would definitely go back too.  The condo cabins are fairly old in decor as I'm sure you would read from any review but it had so much to offer.  We stayed in a "two bedroom" place.  One bedroom was a true bedroom, queen size bed, ensuite bathroom, and closet.  The other "bedroom" was actually a loft that had two double beds, perfect if you're traveling with more than just one couple.  There was also a bathroom in the loft that I never actually saw, but heard no complaints. 

The residence also had a kitchen that was VERY well stocked.  It had all we needed including good knives, plenty of cutlery, plenty of plates and bowls, a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, etc.  It also had pots and pans, so we literally only had to bring the food!  The place was warm and welcoming and had comfortable seating in the main area.  The hot tub left lots to be desired, but we were happy that it was indoors and that it was hot.  It was also in a fairly old part of the building.

Overall we were very happy with the Kirkwood and would come back to stay here again.  The owners were very accommodating as we arrived very late, and were still able to get the keys to our condo at midnight.  One other thing I will mention is the beds are stiff, so if you're looking for something comfy you may want to reconsider (unless you like stiff beds)!

Older ski-in and ski-out residence

We recently stayed at the Inn West - Kirkwood Inn in the beautiful Kimberley area.  We had a 2 bedroom unit overlooking the picturesque Rocky Mountains.  The unit was very well equipped and quiet.  The second bedroom was a loft above the kitchen.  The two bathrooms were very handy.  Others have mentioned this accommodation is dated and although somewhat true it does not detract from a quality stay.  Yes the front desk has abbreviated hours but we found our key and instructions as and where indicated for a trouble free check in.  Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. I would suggest the provision of room darkening window coverings for the sleeping areas.  We found the Inn West Kirkwood to provide good value family accommodation and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good Value Family Accommodation in Kimberley

Had a great stay. Quiet, clean, good size room, basic kitchen, patio with BBQ, easy check in, and would stay there again. Close to trails. Didn't use the pool but option was there. Staff were friendly. Great value for price paid. I got more than expected.
