We booked a double room which was faaaar away from what the pictures looked like on the website.
We came for skiing and surprise - in our double room the only wardrobe is with shelves. No place for hangers. What to do with the ski equipment after a ski day if no hanger in the room? The TV, I a sorry that I did not did a picture, was the smallest TV than one can buy.  And generally, the room was super poor. So we went to the reception to ask for another double room, thinking that the one in the picture should exist. But another surpise - no double room available like the one in the pictures. Only suits, for which of course we have to pay additional. As we did not want to ruin our vacation from day 1, we accepted the suit with extra cost. Big, indeed, but the room was having a very small heater that for me did not do enough heat. So we slept in the living room, which had a smaller bed but a bigger heater. Next day in the morning we go to the reception and complain about the lack of enough heat in the bedroom. The lady (don’t know the name, but blonde one) told us, in a rude way, that this is the heating option in all rooms and only we are complaining. At least she focused on a solution and she came with us in the room to put another small heater in the bedroom. When she entered the suit, her another rude reaction was: “it is extremely hot in here!” I invited her in the bedroom to check the temperature and mainly, I did not ask about her perception about it. Cause for me important was mine. So what she did was to put the additional heater in the bedroom and before she left, in a very offensive way, she put the temperature of the heater in the living room to 26! Tone of voice and gestures of the lady were offensive and rude.
Now, about the rooms, poor and oldish furniture. The towels, I am not saying that they were not cleaned, but most of them were grey… 
The only good thing at this hotel was the restaurant! Super good food at dinner.

Pretty poor rooms

This is for sure one of the best restaurants in Bansko, if not the best one... Friendly service, tasty food, excellent location... Absolutely superb! We visited a couple of times only the restaurant, but for sure next time will check the hotel...:)

Great food & service

We visit regularly this place especially in summer. We love the friendly attitude of the Landlord and his family, a true sportsperson himself he knows what guests with sport ambitions are looking for. The rooms are clean, he food is delicious and it sports the best fitness room in town. The interior is very stylish and contributes to the coziness this place is oozing.
If one is into skiing, hiking or mountain biking, this place is the first choice in Bansko.

The Choice of the real sportsperson

Cosy rooms, clean surroundings, amazing kids activities and spaces, good food, friendly staff... what else you need for your winter holiday... Probably the best place in Bansko in terms of price and quality. Highly recommended! 

Exactly what one needs for winter holiday 

We weren't staying here but called in as a family to have a drink and view the place!  The atmosphere was great and the play area next to the family area is brilliant - our grandson loved it and joined in with the other kids....no language barrier here!  Would definitely return again!!

Lovely place!

Very comfortable, great views, close to gondola lift. The restaurant is great! There is a sport center with group activities- worth to try. But top of all are bike activities for kids. I liked a lot massage- don't miss it. Next summer we will be back!

Apres ski dinner 

Spent a fun week with family, good location, very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. 
Enjoyed a great day skiing with Andy and Martina, good value all round, would be happy to return next year.

Nice variety of cocktails, decent food in restaurant

Amazing hotel, well decorated and modern room. Great breakfast service which stayed mostly the same with different elements each morning. Would be better if the breakfast started earlier so you could get to the gondola before the queues. Few minutes walk into the town and great with a small shop only a minute away.

Bar and restaurant service was excellent and food was excellent quality. Friendly service, spa is small but well kept. Manicurist was great and well priced. 

Family Ski Holiday 

What a great hotel, friendly service and lovely clean rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The massages are reasonably priced and well delivered by Martina, something to look forward to apres ski! Staff are helpful, especially after I fractured my pelvis on the slopes, they couldn’t do enough to make me comfortable. Location is great and definitely a family friendly hotel too. Breakfast is all beautifully presented and fresh with a good variety. Great cocktails from the bar, not only taste good but entertaining to watch them being made
