Pousada Cantinho da Praia

Bf & I stayed at Cantinho da Praia for 3 nights. The room was nice, had a small flat screen tv, a small fridge, snacks and an AC. Breakfast was excellent, boyfriend said is was one of the best he's ever had - different baked goods, breads, cakes, deli meats and cheese, yogurt, juices, cereal, coffee, fresh fruit, very plentiful and yummy. They also have a freezer with ice cream available (the ice cream was not included, you had to pay for it, but fairly priced). Everyday, when we got back from the beach (which is just about a block away), the hotel smelled fresh and clean. I'm pretty sure they cleaned all the hallways every day. The staff was always courteous and friendly. Everyday they gave me a list of items consumed from the room to approve, and it was always correct (and again, fairly priced, not like some hotels that charge a premium for items in the fridge). They were extremely accommodating. The hotel is also very well located, within walking distance of attractions (the bus tour), the beach and great restaurants. Also near public transportation. I have no negative points to this review, but two caveats: the hotel is surrounded by houses and buildings, so there's no view (except of other houses' backyards and of tall buildings) and there's no parking. I would love to stay there again.
