We were in five people from the same family. We were well settled in a coupled cabin. The main room was more comfortable than the coupled room when it came to mattresses, as for the other items it was similar: good sheets and towels. The farmhouse hotel is beautiful and the food is wonderful. A great place to rest and contemplate. Attentive care.

Very good experience

I've been coming here since 1998 and I always leave refreshed.  If you would like the feeling of staying at a friend's fazenda and sipping caipirinhas on the verandah as the sun goes down (or before a traditional Brazilian lunch), this is the place.  The rooms offer a range of views, to accomodate all tastes.  This has been a family-run business since the 80s, so they pride themselves on maintaining good value for your money.  It is definitely a stress-buster to get away from the hectic city life, or as a relaxing stop on the way to Paraty.

Far from the madding crowd

Exuberant nature - the property has a viewpoint overlooking Serra da Bocanha and Marcela stone, as well as a private waterfall, fruit trees and mini zoo. Extremely attentive staff (on the first day I mentioned that I did not eat meat and at all meals a special vegetarian dish was prepared for me).

Great place to relax and stay in touch with nature

A perfect place to rest and recharge our energies! A very attentive team. Always diligent and polite, answering all our questions, before and during our stay. You can see that the team enjoys working at the hotel. The meals are great and prepared with great care. We feel very comfortable in all areas of the farm. The feeling of space and freedom is great. The farm dependencies are very well cared for. There is always something to do or if you just want to relax, it is also a great option. What impressed us most in this is nature. In the morning the song of birds and the starry nights. Since there was no moon and the sun was clean, you could see the Milky Way from above. Comic fantasy! Let's go back to the sky.

A fantastic place to find peace of mind!

The place is beautiful (cache, lookout, lake), the cabins are very cozy and clean (bed, pillows and great blankets). Very friendly and attentive staff, very tasty food. We miss more food options (on the first day's dinner there was no meat option), a more farm-style meal, different dessert options (a gelatin would already help). The unidentified meals, you have to keep asking the waiter what each thing is, a few items of each food (making them end up quickly and we need to wait for replacement). We miss better signage of the attractions of the farm (we almost didn't do it on the trail because the track is signposted to a sounding place, we had a hard time finding it). But these animals are beautiful and worth looking at with a very nice, beautiful view.

It's a beautiful place.

The hotel is fantastic. Ideal for those who are looking for tranquility and contact with nature! Easy location and access as well. The accommodation, food, landscape, climate, everything is very cozy. The service is very cordial. We stayed in one of the chalets with fireplace... super pleasant. The prices are affordable. From there, you can easily get to the city, where shopkeepers exhibit products and handicrafts from the region. The city restaurants are very good too! It was an amazing experience! I recommend.

That's great!

The Hotel Fazenda São Francisco is a rural property that provides an authentic experience in the rainbow. Large and full of attractions. I suggest a walk to the highest point of the Farm that has a magnificent sunny spot. The full boarding service is interesting. At breakfast I thought it would surprise me more, but it was good. Lunch is also not very surprising. Dinner was wonderful. Family-friendly place and a good club structure. The rooms are very old, equipped with basic... at least everything was very clean. The sauna is closed due to the pandemic.

Experience in the farm

The hotel is really beautiful, much more than you can see in the photos! Perfect for children. Exterior area very well taken care of! The food is also very good, the trivial very well done! My only reservation are the rooms. They need to be renovated. Besides, everything is perfect! We'll be back!!!

Peace and tranquility!

This fantastic located place is a hidden jewel! Staff with excellent service and friendly atmospher !
You drive of the high way and suddently you are the there in the woods, with pool, lakes with boat, top of the mountain view point - managed by the owner!!

Fantatsic

Lovely traditional farm, great stop on the way to Paraty. Nice setting, friendly people and lovely environment. Enjoyed a nice fireplace in the room. There is a new ecological highway that crosses the jungle on the way to Paraty, an UNESCO town at the beach. An hour from Cunha. Cunha is known for ceramic arts, with many studios to visit.
