My wife and I stayed at Pousada Chez Roni for two nights. The owners and staff were very friendly. They are all very sweet. If you are staying in Baía da Traição, this should be your first choice. The breakfast was very tasty as was the one other meal we took in there. The room was nice, and is you like a bit of a rustic feel, fantastic. They have air conditioning and a small frigobar. Exiting to the beach, walk to the left about 100 meters and you will find some beachfront restaurants open during the day. I had several crabs at 2 reais each (US$1). The town seems to have very little nightlife but it is somewhere where you get treated as a real person, not a tourist. For that reason alone, we plan to return.
