This hotel is amazing because it is right in the center of El Prado. The location is convenient because you have restaurants, pharmacies, banks, and stores all footsteps away from the lobby! The staff was very respectful and welcoming, but especially Miguel, he was the best! I can also add that room service did such a great job as well. This hotel includes free breakfast which was delicious. Lunch is not included, but the lunch comes at a very good price and the food was beyond amazing. The view from the hotel was beautiful, especially at night. There is a good variety of shows on the TV, but only channels 44 and 48 were in English. The WiFi was not really a problem but it worked fine in the end. I would definitely come back to this hotel because it exceeded my expectations! I would say this is the best hotel in Bolivia!

This hotel should be a top choice for the budget conscious traveller. The room was clean and has large windows with views of El Prado and the city. Foods served in the restaurant was fresh and tasty. Staffs are always ready to help you.

Comfortable stay!

I stayed here for 3.5 weeks in April 2016, and it was a very good choice for this part of La Paz. You're basically halfway between Zona Sur and El Alto, and the nearby Sopocachi neighborhood has tons of things to do and see. The hotel had Coca Tea available in the lobby, and had a pretty tasty restaurant on the mezzanine floor -- so popular that it was packed with locals pretty much every day. My room had a lot of storage, and a very clean bathroom. I actually took a bath here, and I normally wouldn't do that! My only advice was that you should be sure you have enough blankets, as it can get fairly cold (35-40 deg F) and there's no central heat.

our night bus got us in 2hrs earlier than expected, the guy at reception was great and let us check in with no extra charge, despite us stuffing up the booking dates. 
The reception gave us a good deal on death road biking, which was great.

In the very center of La Paz, nice and old hotel. Helpful and nice staff : they gently helped me when I get mountain sickness. Very clean rooms.  
It was in this hotel that Ernesto Che Guevara had stayed, under a fake name, in early 1967, before to go on guerrilla rampage in the sierra, and meet his fate. He stayed on room 504, ask the staff to visit it (they plan to renovate the room as a small museum).

Loved here for 3 weeks with Remote Year. Room was pretty big and loved the closet space. Staff was also very nice and they always had free hot coca tee downstairs which was nice. They also have free filtered water on each floor. Kind of old looking. Could use an upgrade. Restaurant is really good and cheap for lunch on the second floor.
