Parkhotel Montreal

This hotel deserves more customers - please go and stay! There were only three of the 20 rooms occupied when we stayed, but the owners couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome for our overnight stay. Situated on the quiet outskirts of Mechelen we were able to walk into the town in just over half an hour and then get the bus back. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety including fresh fruit salad, cereals, fresh bread and rolls, meats cheeses, boiled and scrambled eggs. The hotel overlooks a fishing lake so a pretty outlook. We booked a standard room but it was perfectly adequate and had a very good shower, tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary water etc. There was plenty of parking. All in all, we were more than satisfied.
