Velden am Woerthersee

We spent beautiful days in this fine little boutique hotel, with a view and balcony to the lake, and we felt very comfortable. The owner was very attentive, we even got our espresso served on the hotel's own beach. The intense life in Velden can be reached in 5 minutes on foot (my husband enjoyed the Ferrari and Lamborghinis!), but at night it was pleasantly quiet and the twilight from the balcony was beautiful. Of us 5 stars, we are back!

It's a lovely, tasty boutique hotel.

Super nice location, view of the lake and close to the center. Very nice room and very clean. Good breakfast. Super beautiful wooden platform with sun loungers and umbrella around the sun and the lake. Beautiful terrace on the roof with views and loungers etc. Supernet hosts and staff who are very helpful. All in all, a really nice little hotel in which the charm of the hosts can be felt in every corner.

A great hotel by the Wörthersee.

We enjoyed a successful week at Wörthersee. Our room was very beautiful and spacious. The use of the hotel's own seafront and roof terrace with great views is excellent. The lovingly prepared breakfast and the accompanying service round the whole thing. High-quality bikes can be safely parked. We will definitely be back. PS The proximity to many restaurants by the lake is extremely practical.

Perfect Accommodation

Great location by the lake, right off center of Velden, near Velden Castle. Lovely hotel with very welcoming and accommodating owner and friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and although right by the "Seecorso" quiet. The owner architect kept much of the original furniture, while updating and adding some vintage pieces. Mattress on the hard side, but very comfortable. The bathrooms are small, but stylish and functional  and newly renovated. (My only "complaint" - if any -  would be the water pressure in the very nice and spacious shower. They even thought to have a hook for your towel in the shower! :) There is a deck with lake access and a great roof top sauna with a few loungers as well. Bicycles are available for use. Hotel has its own locked parking in walking distance. Would return any time.

Lovely Hotel right by the lake

How have you spent an extended weekend here and are totally thrilled... quiet location with private bathroom, good breakfast with nice, attentive service... the hotel has its own parking space, but it's about 500 meters from the hotel.

Great quiet location and yet central

We spent 8 days in this beautiful, very tastefully decorated garni hotel, right by the sea. The rooms all with a view of the sea, very nice, helpful hotel owner. Bathing facility right by the hotel, couches, treadboat and rental bicycles available. A very relaxed holiday, we would love to come back!!

Velden is a delightful place, with all the sports that the lake can offer, many bars and restaurants! The Ogris Hotel is lovely and well maintained, with a well-equipped platform on the lake where one enjoys a nice bath and a bit of freshness, it also has a beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the whole lake.

Relax and Have Fun

It's a very small hotel with a fantastic view of the sea. It's very personal and very friendly management, nice and friendly staff. Breakfast leaves no wishes open. Rooms and balcony with sea and castle views were great.

Best location in Velden in top atmosphere

Very well run family hotel, very friendly and attentive hotel rooms, good breakfast, rooms quite simple, rooftop sauna and terrace as well as a very nice sidewalk.

Velden in High Season (mid-August) can be a challenge indeed: a packed lake front, extra-high prices and debatable service quality. 
With Hotel Ogris, we had made a lucky choice: their small separate bathing deck on the lake was large enough to easily accommodate all guests, who were in for a swim. The cleverly architected building combines the original house with well-designed extensions. Rooms are quiet and tastefully furnished with a touch of Fifties' elegance. The grandiose lake view offered from our room and its balcony almost made us forget about the large flat screen TV with its rich selection of digital channels. 
Service really makes the difference! Owners and personnel alike met us in the most friendly and helpful attitude. It was a pleasure meeting service staff at the breakfast buffet and order the extra fried egg - and this was mid-August! That's why we didn't take advantage of the wellness area / sauna that are also offered.
