I stayed here in September for 4 days. It's not so close to the city centre but i found this place easy. I liked my single room and all hotel were clean and cozy. Especially i would like to tell about nice host and wonderful breakfasts that she cooked for me. It's really very delicious!

The location of this B&B is either an advantage or a disadvantage depending on your expectations and needs. The location is away from the city center, but affords a great view of the city and is quiet. To get to the city it is necessary to walk about 10 minutes down a hill and then take the #3 bus or walk. Since we walked almost everywhere, the walk was not a problem. The room was clean, the breakfasts were excellent and varied, and the owner was charming and spoke good English. We would stay here again.

Michaela Putz, the owner is very nice person and is very helpful in planning the visits in Salzburg. The breakfast was great. Room clean and being done everyday.  The haus is cca 1 km from bus no. 3 and you need to walk on the road without light in the night( which was bigger problem for my wife, not me).  The room under roof provided great views on the town and mountains.

A nice place to stay. The host is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice, clean and cozy. You can a get a hommy  breakfast. The view surround the hotel is very good, grass field with the background of the alps. One thing you need to prepare is for the transportation, because it is a bit far by walking from the bus stop, especially if you bring heavy luggage. Taxi will be easier option.

As best I could tell, all the rooms are on the top floor of the building (it is a residence).  And, each is different in size and shape/configuration. The rooms are under the building's roof. So, the slope of the roof is significant and can cause you to bump your head (more than once). Some rooms have a small kitchen area (each seem to be equipped differently). No elevator. So, if you have heavy/multiple luggage you will be tasked for sure. Breakfast was very good. Delightful setting. Nearby there is a good place to eat (can get noisy). The Haus Elisabeth was very clean too.
If you have a car, this place may be a good option.  No car, you will be walking more than you might expect. Pretty good slope down to the bus stop. BIG HINT!!!  Going out at night (into town)?  There is no lighting on the long path (rough in spots) up to lodging.  Lucky for us, we did have flashlights with us.  
Summary:  Place was OK.  But, we had no car.  So, I would not go back to this lodging.  It is somewhat remote from old town Salzburg (but, certainly doable (Bus #3)). Distance seems to get shorter the more you ride the bus. Walk up/down the hill does not get shorter. Especially with groceries, water and wine!.
Know the other reviews are very 'delightful.'  So, what I have written is what was experienced.  The staff/owner is great.  But, can't put to much weight on just one area of the visit.

Some Plus, and some Minuses

For our stay we stayed for nights, the bed cloth during this time was unchanged, the shower had no body gel, no soap and unchanged towels. The breakfast was very poor, if you would like to pay with a card forget about that because it is not accepted. The owner announced us one day prior to our departure to get money from an ATM. In conclusion, the price for the stay was over exaggerated.

There is also no AC.
