We liked it here. A very relaxing place to stay and the rooms were pleasant although the bathroom was a little dated but we thought it was fairly priced considering the cost of other places we looked at in Fuschl. Monica tends to be reserved but very helpful when asked.
Breakfast was simple but once again was nice to have it included in the price rather than having to pay extra. 
Great location and a plus that price included entry to the pool/lake area free of charge!!

We had a very pleasant 2 day stay here in the midst of the worst rain Austria had had for 2 years so we spent more time than usual in our room, which was very comfortable. After getting soaked in Salzberg we were grateful to have a bath to saok in. It was a very Austrian style hotel, very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The view from our front facing room with balcony would have been gorgeous in the sunshine I'm sure. (Beware, that we had another 'interesting' view. That of a lakeside nudist beach) I would definitely stay here again if we try and see Salzberg in the sunshine. It is about a 20 minute journey into Salzberg by car (we used the Park and Ride) but the scenery around Fuschl would be lovely also in the sunshine.

A nice place to stay

A great little hotel.

The best thing about this place is its location just across the road from Lake Fuschl. The 2nd floor room we stayed in (N.B. no lift) had a pleasant lake view from the (shared) balcony, partially obscured by a few trees. The weather was pretty hot & it would have been lovely to enjoy sitting on the balcony with a cool glass of something refreshing (or, at the end of the day, with a hot cup of tea) but neither fridges nor kettles seem to be available for guests, so, lovely as the location is, I didn't enjoy quite to the full.  
It was good to be given a free pass for the period we stayed for the lake bathing place, which is just across the road (its restaurant OK but not particularly recommended); the sauna part (I think adults only - naked people coming out to jump into the lake on that side could be seen from our balcony!) had to be paid for but the pass gave a discount.
Room & bathroom were a bit old-fashioned but perfectly adequate. TV was also old-fashioned (not flat screen) with very limited channels. The mattress & pillow were similarly elderly & not very comfortable - though the pillow was probably feather, it gave inadequate support, even when folded up, and the mattress was not the memory foam type we're all getting used to. The bed squeaked horribly when one moved & could also do with some attention.
Breakfast was quite good, with eggs & yoghurt etc; coffee was often not very warm - I think made in advance and kept in a non-insulated pot. 
A sitting out area on the lawn at the front could be used, as well as a sitting room inside. Everywhere was very clean.
Fuschl is very pleasant and quiet (limited shops); the road is generally not noisy enough to disturb sleep. It's only 18 kms from Salzburg & easily accessible by bus. One day we walked the 11.5 kms round the lake - easyish along one side but not quite so easy along the other! (some uphill paths, rocky bits and tricky tree roots to negotiate).
If a fridge & kettle was made available, breakfast coffee served in insulated pots, & TV, beds & bedding upgraded, this would be a perfect spot, but it's not quite there at the moment.

good lake view, simple B & B pension

A bit noisy, on main road with alot of trucks pasing through. Room and bathroom are reasonable size. Helps if you speak some Germna. Beaky is OK. Bathroom has a bath.

Rooms were clean.  The decor- particularly the bathroom- was very dated.  The shower was terrible.  You had to crouch in the bath to use the showerhead.  Stained plastic beakers to drink out of.  Soap was provided, but only when asked for.  Breakfast was standard, but only open for an hour or so. Check out was a 1/2 hour window right after breakfast. Nice view of the nudists from the balcony.  Rather than manning the reception you had to lock and unlock the front door every time you went out- this for a hotel with 50 rooms or so, is not acceptable.  The staff were unfriendly.  Location was good and Fushl itself was nice. Stay somewhere else. Although this is one of the cheaper places in town, it would be better to pay a few extra euros and get better value elsewhere.
