The accommodation was very nice, always a relaxed atmosphere, someone was always available for guests, Tizia and her crew were always on hand. The swimming pool, the roof terrace, yoga sessions and the opportunity to eat on site are also great. The rooms are large enough, clean and can be cleaned again if necessary. As a family, we were young and old, which suited everyone, even though there are mainly people under 30 there.

And unfortunately the prices of the day tours. Far too high. We would have been better off taking a taxi, the drivers would have waited on site and driven us back. Would have saved us a lot of money.

Family vacances &Safari in Arusha

The room was nice enough and clean. We had our own bathroom and a small kitchenette.
As other reviewers said, it is not quiet, because next to a busy road, but that was not really a problem.
It was very strange that there was no staff at all, just a list with who was in which room. I cannot say anything about the staff since, we never saw anybody.
The place is close enough to the Festspielhaus, the lake and the center.
All in all it was fine for one night but I would not have liked to stay there for any lengthe of time.

This is the most basic of accommodations, and everything misses. 

I arrived to find no front desk, a chalk board listed room assignments. As I was letting myself in, I met a maid, who spoke no English. She was as helpful as, well actually, she wasn't helpful at all. I never saw her again. She certainly never cleaned my room.

My room, it turns out had a shared bath. For 150€ (approx) a night, that seems a bit odd. Said bath was through a shared kitchen. Both rooms stank of mildew/mold. The linoleum in the floor had been cut and patched, perhaps to deal with the mold in the sub-flooring. There is a hilariously mistranslated sign which says in English "When finished showering please request Window tipper". A German speaking friend said the problem was the sign was not written in proper German, and if it had been correctly spelled would have said, "please crack the window. " the window was wide open, and the mildew/damp/mold needs to be dealt with by a professional. Disgusting.

4 nights with no cleaning service, not cool, especially with the mildew problem

The room I got, slept 4 in 2 singles and a pair of bunk beds. Each bed had a pillow, a duvet and a pair of towels. Oh and ear plugs. So, you guessed it, windows uninsulated and plenty of street noise. 

So to finish, we made it through a huge thunderstorm with no leaks and Internet largely worked. 

Sadly this was last room for the festival. Happily, I was alone in my four bed "suite" and didn't have to share the misery

What everyone else said + mildew/mold/damp

My name and room number were listed on a table by the entrance so I knew we were expected. But I didn't find the room. Fortunately someone answered a phone number listed for guests to call. There is no reception. The door to Number 9 turned out to be from outside the house. That meant we had to go outside and up a flight of stairs to go to the WC/shower. The so called double bed was narrow but at least comfortable. - All this would have been acceptable at a reasonable price. We paid over €140 for that tiny hole. I booked over Booking.com. My mistake! What a rip-off!

A rip-off

These guys literally stole our money! When we arrived to the place there was nobody to open the door, even though we told them that we'll arrive from 23:00-24:00 and they said it's ok and they will be there. They asked us to call them when we arrive, which we did at 23:40 but nobody answered. After waiting outside for half an hour and constantly calling the given number without receiving any answer, we had to go search another hotel in the middle of the night and pay 180 euros for that night. The next morning I woke up to find out that they charged me for that night. So not only I had to pay extra for the new hotel, but also I ended up paying to these guys for NOTHING, for the service they did not provide. And when we went to them to ask our money back, the owner just told us to forget about it and even said "you can go to police or wherever you want, I don't care".
