Four Winds Villas

We wanted somewhere special to just chill out in the Byron Bay hinterlands for five nights. Four Winds was just the perfect escape whilst still being homely and unpretentious. Our one-bedroomed, Bali-themed, villa was huge (180 sq m) and the views across the countryside and to the ocean were spectacular - we could even see whales breaching from there. The self-catering facilities were fine for all we needed, we went to Woolworths & a bottle shop in Byron when we arrived and stocked up for the week, having brekkie at home most mornings sitting outside wondering at the view and then bbq dinners on the first and last night. The other three nights we’d booked dinner in town (15 mins easy drive) which just meant that one of us had to be designated driver. In summary, it suited our needs perfectly and we’ll definitely be back. The only minor negatives I’d raise were that the (huge) bathroom could do with an extractor fan and also some form of heating.
