2 bed 2 bath apartment right in Southbank. Absolutely fantastic. Quiet. Close to everything.  Would stay there again. Very good value for money. Nice living area and bedrooms balcony. Kitchen has everything you need

Booked a 2br apartment to attend Christmas function at Crown. Ideal location as we travelled by train to Melbourne. 5 minutes walk from Flinders street station. Easy walk to anywhere in CBD.
Room was excellent with all facilities for a 3 day stay. Only issue was room was too warm for us and aircon could not be adjusted. Opened doors to cool room which was OK.


3 day city stay

28 Southgate is extremely well located right behind the Arts Centre and NGV.  It is a short walk across the Princes Bridge to Melbourne central.  The apartment I stayed in was two bedroom with great river and city views.  There are 1 bedroom apartments also.  WiFi was free and excellent.  The building is well run and clean with full kitchen.  Although dated it is still really good.

Great Location

We had a very well presented and comfortable  two bedroom, two bath apartment with balconies overlooking the Yarra River, Flinders St Station and Federation Square with the Melbourne Cricket Ground just in view too. The building is very close to the Southbank food court with a range of sensibly priced options, and it's within easy walking distance of anywhere in the CBD.  Thanks very much Graham! Yes we'd highly recommend 28 Southgate apartments, 5 stars for everything.

Really nice convenient place to stay

After accidentally booking the wrong apartments and avoiding a heavy cancellation fee we decided to stick with the mistake and make the most of it! 
Boy oh boy ... so glad we did. 
Awesome apartment on the 7th floor facing the Yarra River- birds eye view of flinders street station and Federation Square. 2 minute walk to free tram zone. Location location at Southbank. Spoilt for choice with restaurant and fast food outlets. 
2 bed 2 bath apartment. Central heating . More than enough doonas and blankets. Comfy beds. Great ensuite. Bath bathrooms large!  Well furnished and just awesome. Personally met by concierge although they are not on site - waited for our arrival , welcomed us and shown to apartment. Quick guide to the area and tips on where to go and what we would expect to find. Great gym with ping pong table and spa which we had no time to visit except for 10 minutes before departure....Honestly a highly rated stay all around. Read so many bad reviews on these apartments and I honestly don’t know why - coz I totally disagree. Would definitely recommend and rate 10/10! Hope to be back sometime and will choose these apartments again. Thank you Graeme for your help and friendliness. Booking ladies .. so glad you convinced me to stay with you 😊 loved loved loved!!

Pleasantly surprised

A great experience all round. Wonderful staff from booking to checking in/out. Room was clean roomy and had everything we needed. Didn't need to go to our car once for the whole stay as the apartment is in such a great location we walked everywhere. Gym facilities are great. Felt very homely as soon as we arrived. Great view from the balcony, very east to waste time watching the world go by. I cannot wait to stay again, ee will definitely be back :)

Brilliant Location with Great Facilites

Great Location and Good for families. We took our own port-a-cot for our baby but fitted our family of 5 in comfortably. The location is great, easy walking distance to Southbank, the arts centre, and flinders street.

Great location

We checked into the apartment having been met by your person outside property, the property was a massive disappointment and we immediately checked out and returned the keys to locker for room 21, had he taken us up to the room we would not have accepted the property on the spot.
 
We took pictures to show the issues which were throughout the property 
 
The property was 
•	dirty/dusty throughout ,
•	wires hanging in bedroom from tv unit,
•	tv in bedroom had no reception,  
•	Living room settee was particularly dirty,
•	blinds in living behind tv were broken and a mess,
•	Mass of wires behind the tv in living room incredibly untidy
•	bin lid in kitchen was broken,  
•	carpets were all dirty,
•	kitchen carpets were turned up in corner and
•	one of units we think was dishwasher was sticking out.
•	Bathroom was particularly outdated and nothing like how was staged in the pictures.
 
The property had the general feeling of neglect and not well maintained/cleaned and the bore no comparison to the staged pictures online.
