We stayed at the Rangers cottage for 3 nights. It is spacious, comfortable and is equipped with everything one needs. There is a good modern roomy bathroom and a full gas kitchen.
The cottage is situated on a large property with lots of animals and birds ... very beautiful.
The property is well secured.
We recommend this cottage without hesitation or qualification. Thank you for our stay.

Very comfortable and friendly place to stay

We had a great overnight stay in the Loft positioned above a shed.

The outlook over the bush setting was gorgeous and the small flock of domestic sheep and lambs did not intrude in any way. 
A very relaxing well-managed environment .



Beautiful location 

Rangers Run Cottages were less than an hour's (mostly freeway) drive from our inner-eastern Melbourne home - close enough that during our three-day escape we were able to return to a birthday party in the city without too much disruption to our break.  At the same time, we were in easy reach of the incredible beauty and variety of the Mornington Peninsula, including Red Hill and Point Nepean.  On arrival, Pete greeted us outside The Loft and made us very welcome.  The Loft is probably the most private of the dwellings, facing away from the others towards the west, giving you a view across the paddocks.  It is accessed by a wooden staircase up to a covered deck with a BBQ.  The apartment is one open space for everything except for a bathroom in one corner.  This worked well for us.  We particularly enjoyed use of the wood-burning stove.  There is also a split-system AC/heater.  It's worth bearing in mind that cooking facilities are fairly limited.  There are many eating options in nearby Somerville and Mornington.  I'd say that the level of comfort/specs are commensurate with the price - we were very comfortable and happy.  Hoping to make it back to Rangers Run some time soon!

Rural Couples Retreat between Melbourne and Mornington Peninsula Loveliness

I stayed in clancy's cottage with a friend for a festival that was near by. Every thing was great the owners were really friendly and we were able to check in early. The cottage was very clean with nice furniture and the surrounding gardens were beautiful. It was also close to wineries and the beach. I will definitely be back.
