Loved staying here with everything within walking distance including Manuka shops, the Stadium, parks and gardens and the Parliamentary area. The apartments are very quiet although so convenient  with beautiful gardens and a lovely pool - peaceful but right in the centre of Canberra .

So convenient

Spent three nights at the Bentley Suites a couple of weeks ago. There was no quilt on my bed, only a polyester blanket tucked in between two sheets. I thought this was strange so went hunting for a quilt. We got onto the person who took our booking as there was also flooding from the apartment above which we saw to ourselves. No call back about organizing any bedding. As the temperature was getting to -5deg C I was a bit worried about how a tiny column heater (the smallest size) was going to work. Needless to say, I didnt sleep well as even doubling the blanket and a spare one (plus a spare towel) didn't work too well. I can't believe we didn't hear back and to date still haven't had an apology.
The other thing I thought was unusual was there was no dishwashing liquid or dishwashing tablets left for use. I have never stayed anywhere where this hasn't been included. The sponge was very old and had holes in it. I would have thought a new one would have been left.
To be honest if it wasn't for these things I would have rated higher as the premises were clean and in a good location. As it is we won't be staying there again.

Cold stay

Being offer a early check in. Attended Nagee office in Manuka, only 5 minutes and I am out and done, directions given in paper, handed keys and off to the apartment about 2 minutes away by car.

On arrival, only 1 parking spot for 2 bedrooms apartment but plenty of vistor car park. Entry via secure car park then up 4 flights of stairs, ok for young people but for us have to carry pram up and down is a problem.

Apartment 94 for us was clean , 2 bedrooms, 2 showers 2 toilets, full kitchen, laundry, dining, lounges, aircon, TV- all you could ask for.

Some point need attention: Kitchen cupboard(above the stove) is fill with oil, the bath towel rack in the main bathroom is lose which the bar is falling , this is very dangerous if small kids is brushing their teeth when the bar fall, there are a king size bed(2 single beds) in the 2nd (smaller bed room) and a queen bed in the master bedroom with en-suit, I am not sure why the master bedroom is not equipped with the king bed instead.   

Spare blankets are provided but they look very dirty, we need to wear our jacket to sleep through the night as it is -3 degree there, the heater provided only got 4 fin which I do not think it is enough.

Last but not least, location is not in the center but it is only 10 - 15 mins to the major attraction, this is a plus.

Not prefect, cleanness and maintenance need some more work, not too worth for money I paid

Booked then read the other reviews on Trip Advisor. 'Twas a bit of a worrying start.

Very quiet apart from fella upstairs who dropped something once at 7 in the morning- no biggie.

3 faults- spare doona had a questionable stain on it and complimentary tea/ coffee/sugar sachets were lacking.

Last fault- return of keys at 8.30am at Nagee offices in Manuka- office was locked when says it opens at 8.00am. Knocked so loudly someone eventually came to open door- bloke looked oddly at me then realised the error of his ways.

Would I do this apartment again? 

Dunno.

 I would err on the side of caution and say no even though the apartment was very good- It kinda felt like we got 'lucky' compared to the other reviews.

'Tis a little bit different

FALSE ADVERTISING by Nagee at the time we made the booking. We have booked through them on a weekly basis for nearly close to a year now. We were told it was "like" the new apartments that we regularly stay at on the Kingston FORESHORE Development . This was anything but. It is more like a cheap motel. Very disappointed especially considering what we had paid for the apartment. I do not recommend you book this. You are better off at ibis or some other well known three star hotel. The carpark is very confusing. Wrong instructions! Parking spaces are not clearly labelled. Then we had to find the stairwell to access the apartment. We have to go up three flights of stairs to get to our apartment. They FAILED TO MENTION: THERE ARE NO LIFTS. When we opened up the apartment. It had not been cleaned properly. There was beer bottles and cigarettes left on the balcony. Quite dusty. Dirty Pots in the cupboards. Furnishings are out dated and does not look anything like the photos. On top of that. The dryer did not work properly. Bad mobile reception as well therefore not good for business travelers. The Staff were not accommodating at all and rude. Very unprofessional. Their work standards have dropped. They did not even have a manager available to discuss alternative options. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.NEVER AGAIN!!!
