We stayed for 2 nights in Black Palm and were very impressed: - accomodations are spectacular, spotlessly clean and no insects and this is right in the rainforest overlooking a beautiful creek - all the little touches from bottle of champagne, individual soap / champion from NZ, binoculars, etc. are truly 5 stars - the owner who is so friendly and helpful - complete privacy and yet knowing that owner is close by (cannot see or hear) to assist of needed Definitely a spot to return to We like Cape Tribulation to stay better than at Daintree Ecolodge as it is so much closer to so many trails, one of best being 1 min drive away. Also for such a small place love the few restaurants in the city for both lunch and dinner.
