We stayed there for one night on a trip to the mountains from Hanoi. The supper was restricted choice a la carte, but it was very good. The ginger tea was excellent! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ready to go out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. My wife says she had the best massage of her life there.

Great massage

For my 5-day Vacation in Vietnam, this Hotel was my most favorite. It was in the center of Sapa city. It was really convenient for walking everywhere around town. The room was large enough and comfortable bed. Bathroom worked well because of the facility and the water was so strong. Breakfast was so delicious. 

Highly recommend this hotel. 

Peaceful Stay

Decent hotel with friendly staff.  

I am on a G Adventures tour and they booked this hotel.  They have a few buildings together.  I had room 703 at Sapa Lodge 1.

Great location, within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Spacious lobby, great for groups.  There's a souvenir store right in the lobby. 

The shower was leaky, and there is no barrier on the floor to keep water from the rest of the bathroom.  The water is hot, good pressure, but the rain shower didn't work. 

There is heat and air conditioning, TV, but no safety deposit box, luggage rack, slippers, a wardrobe, mini fridge, hot hairdryer with good power.   They give you free bottled water.

Laundry service is available.  50,000 dong/ 1 kilogram bag of clothes

It was not satisfied totally during my family staying. The room facilities did not work well even I asked the receptionist for fix on the morning time, but when I backed to the hotel, it was still there, they didn’t fix it.

Just ok.

It was not really good services. The room facilities was bad also, the phone was broken, the towels was old.. The hard bed, hard pillows. The terrible breakfast. Awful totally. But there is convenient location. 

Convinient location

Restaurant across the road (of the same name) is terrible. Staff very uncaring. The food was being prepared at the Sapa Lodge Hotel, and then walked across the street to the restaurant. The food took ages to arrive and was cold when it got to our table. Two of us had finished eating before the third person got their food. The stir fried noodles was made with 2 minutes packet noodles. The Spring Rolls (our entre) arrived about 30 minutes after our dinner. We refused to eat or pay for the Spring Rolls. We barely ate our mains, so went for Pizza afterwards at a nearby restaurant. Terrible service, terrible food, great views.

Sapa Lodge Restaurant …. Terrible

I recently had the opportunity to visit Sapa and stayed at Sapa Lodge. Sapa is a wonderful destination with breathtaking natural landscapes and fresh air, and I was really looking forward to resting after long trips.

However, my experience at Sapa Lodge did not meet my expectations. The room felt a bit damp, and I noticed that the towels and bed linens were old and not as clean as I would have liked. This may be due to the humid weather in Sapa, but it is something the hotel should improve.

The Wi-Fi in the room was unstable, which made it difficult for me to access the internet. I believe this is an issue that can be easily fixed to provide a better experience for guests.

As for the food, I felt that the meals at the hotel could be improved in terms of both taste and variety.

That said, Sapa Lodge still has its own strengths, such as a convenient location and friendly staff. I hope the hotel takes these suggestions into consideration to offer better service in the future. Sapa is truly a place worth exploring, and I believe that with some improvements, Sapa Lodge can become an ideal place for travelers to stay.

Sharing My Experience at Sapa Lodge

The worst food I have ever tasted in Vietnam.
We went to this restaurant for lunch as the view from the balcony was beautiful.
While the view was worth it, the service was terrible.
The vegetable rice I ordered was dry, tasteless and looked like it had been cooked the day before. The fried chicken was also dry and tough. Besides being more expensive than other places, the food is disgusting.

Worst Food in Vietnam

This hotel was a disappointment. We were immediately told we had to pay extra to get into our room early. We chose to check out town instead and when we did eventually check in our room was dirty. Dried urine on the toilet. Sink was dirty. Glasses were not clean. Beds were fine. Food was marginal. We were not hungry but we sure didn’t love the food here at breakfast. 
On checkout we were told that we had to pay for our dirty towels. They were dirty because we had thrown them on the dirty floor. It was quite the ordeal to get the manager to stop yelling at us when we refused to pay for them to do their hotel laundry. 
Definitely would not recommend this hotel. I have never been treated like this ever.
