Beautiful breakfast area, close to sights.

Great value!

The hotel was a bit dated, but was well managed. There was a slight smell in the room, but not intolerable. The staff goes out of there way to help the guest. They even offered me breakfast while I was waiting to check into the room and a free shuttle service to the Old City. I would recommend this hotel based on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff alone. Looking forward to coming back soon!

This hotel is a good option. The service is five stars and the breakfast is very generous. In addition, its rooms are silent and very clean. The hotel has a swimming pool in a nice garden. If you need a taxi, Chester always will help you. Lots of thanks Chester from Spain!

A good hotel and excellent service

Very nice hotel plus I really enjoyed the swimming pool. It’s a bit far from the old town even though it’s a nice walk. I really enjoyed it.Many thanks Javier

This is a quirky modern hotel that caters primarily for tour parties. The rooms are modern clean and comfortable although the decor might not be to everyone’s taste. My room had a traditional Uzbek gown and turban which was a nice touch!

There’s a small pool with loungers and a garden which was great place to relax after sight seeing. It was why I booked the hotel

Breakfast is served in a huge gaudy banqueting hall which felt very odd. It was the standard Uzbek breakfast which was just about adequate. 

On the negative side the hotel is located 2km from the old town on badly maintained roads. The hotel did provide us with free taxis into town because it’s not a comfortable walk. 

 I also felt the hotel was poorly managed and there really was little concept of any customer service whatsoever for the level of hotel that it is. That is despite the fact there are lots of staff members. It just seemed to be an issue of training and management in my view. For example, on a four night stay the water wasn’t replaced in my room and when I mentioned it the manager said he would get it restocked but this didn’t happen. If you sit by the pool no one would think of offering  you a drink or even a towel. If you want something you have to ask. There is no bar or restaurant service. In summary it’s a hotel with the most basic level of service.

Also be warned that it’s CASH only despite my reservation saying card payments were accepted. Fortunately I was able to pay in sterling which I appreciated. 

In summary, it’s a good choice if you want a clean comfortable modern hotel  room with a pool. Don’t expect any service and remember you’ll need to get taxis into town and back.

Comfortable room but disappointed with service and location

We were the only guests, off season. The room was elaborate and the bathroom ok.  The location was away from the old town, not within easy walking distance and finding transportation was difficult. Facilities like the pool or sauna were not open.

Dramatic Jr Suite, Breakfast Bonanza

Utterly bonkers hotel that could be great but not as close walking to Khiva. 
18 year old receptionist dealing with everything while other staff not in uniform mingle  around. No be but him seems to be s is to deal with normal problems or enquiries. 
No safe in room but room enormous 
Drinking Water stoped being pretty provided  after 2nd day - sane with soap anybiorned is removed and new one supplied but not after 2nd day. 
“No paper In toilet” notice above toilet but not in all rooms - this is a new hotel !!!! 
No “do not disturb sign” resulting in staff walking into both suites at different time. 
Internet terrible outside reception but found an uplighter shining on Router on floor we were staying  so may have contributed to problem
Bizarrely room doors open out into corridor so you might hit someone . 
Although cups and kettle supplied NO tea coffee or milk provided all stay. 
Systems are not set up to run efficiently, took 12 minutes to print receipt while taxi waiting. 
ONLY CASH ACCEPTED despite confirmation saying card in € & $ payment. Who carries thousands of $ to pay for long stays ? 

Avoid staying at all costs and stay in or near the walled city  for lower prices and forget any need for a swimming pool the only thing going for this hotel. 

This could be a relatively good hotel but the owners/management obviously don’t read reviews or are deaf to what looks like critique from reviewers

wish we could have changed hotel for 4 night stay.

An out of the way one night late stop on a tour.  WiFi horrible.  One of the beds lacked any top sheet, and the beds were "sunken" from guests' body weight.  Bathroom had absolutely no vanity to put anything.  Water was hot/cold, and shower head so highly placed (in a tub shower) that wife could not begin to reach it.  Absolutely nothing redeeming.
