One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in! Beautiful decorations and it is kept really clean. Well equipped kitchen. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome, it is a great vibe for solo travellers as well as groups. Close to everything, bus station, supermarket, restaurants and the beach! Plus they organise tours every day to nearby places. Highly recommend, great value for money.

Beautiful hostel in a great location

Hostel Araza is the perfect place to chill and experience amazing La Paloma, the crew there are always full of good vibes will help you out with anything you need, all week theres something happening in the hostel, Barbecues, volleyball, open mic, dancing, the beer is cheap and always cold! the Owner Nacho is an amazing guy who can tell you all the stories, songs and happenings around la Paloma. the town itself is amazing and so relaxed with beautiful beaches for enjoying and surfing! best time ever highly recommend!

Great Hostel, great vibes beautiful people.

Stayed at the hostel for 4 nights at dorms for 6, it’s not that expensive, Nacho the owner is awesome and very welcoming (has very good English). They have many volunteers from all over and buena onda is in the air 24/7.
Location is OK, not that close to the good beach and main avenue . Living room & kitchen are small but rooms are big and have private bathroom.

Great Hostel Vibes

It was a great location only a 7-10 minute walk to the beach and the main downtown area. Everyone who worked there was really friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is a good value. They put on various events throughout the week, and really go out of there way to ensure that everyone has a good time. The pool is small, but gets sun in the afternoon and was a nice place to hang out and chat with other travelers.
We stayed in a private double room, which I think during the high season is not worth the money. It was fairly expensive and The toilet in the bathroom didn’t have a handle, and was constantly running. The shower worked half the time and rarely had warm water. Several of the power outlets didn’t work at all, and the WiFi was very slow at best. It was perfectly comfortable and I wouldn’t complain at a lower price, but not exactly what I expect for over $80 a night.

Wonderful location and people, decent value for money

A really nice hostel at this time of year with lovely staff. It is very very clean and about 10 mins from the beach.

The atmosphere was great (hence the 6 nights) and there were lots of places to relax. The asado was a really nice touch, as was the trip to the lagoon to watch the sunset.

We just got by with the tiny kitchen and few toilets though, and I dread to think what that kitchen is like when there are 70 guests there. I don't think the breakfast was good value for money either.

I had a great time at this hostel and met lots of new friends there, but I'm not sure I would recommend it if it were a busier time of year.

An awesome hostel with a great atmosphere! The stuff was very helpful and kind , great location, the breakfast was very good and rich, bathroom was always clean and hot water all day... and overall a great place to stay!
