The worst hotel on our trip to South America.
It is quite expensive and offers next to nothing. It is not clean  at all.
They offer "breakfast" for 15 US$ which contains: bread, juice, cheese and ham of the cheapest quality.
Do not stay there.

terrible place

Aquarella has several different buildings, added on over the years, and I'm sure the quality varies.  The WiFi was OK, the bed was fine.  Bathroom was very small, and it was impossible not to get water all over the floor during a shower.  We thought it was expensive - about $230USD per night.  We didn't have breakfast.  The owner was EXTREMELY helpful with local suggestions and arranging cabs for us.

Hodgepodge of rooms, great owner

I spent a great time in Punta del Diablo at Aquarella hotel. The place is fantastic and close to the beach. 

Wonderful hotel in a magnificent location. You can see the sea from the hotel which is  located closed to the small village center. 

Splendid holidays in a spectacular place

This authentic property offers many charming views from its hillside near ocean. Its main pool area, (choice of 2 salt water pools)  with a bbq area adjacent is a great place to meet and socialize with other people. Lots of outside areas to enjoy--hammocks, chairs and tables. This is the best of enjoying a warm vacation--rooms for sleeping only!!! Good a/c or ocean breezes in rooms. A short walk to the beaches, or anything you need.

More than accommodation

The place is beautiful and located right at Playa del Rivero, one of the central beaches. The outside spaces, including two swimming pools are great. The staff is friendly, we even got a welcome beer in the fridge! However, I did find the price a little high considering that the room wasn't perfectly clean and installations in the bathroom are quite old.

Nice but over-priced

Nice hotel, great location, clean and quite. Still , to pay 220 $ USD is too much for what you get. Very good hospitality but very poor breakfast. Nice pools, very close to the beach. We had a very small room.
