Want to enjoy a few days of serenity, good air, friendly people, delicious meals, and works of art? When you arrive in Buenos Aires, take a trip to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay (one hour of ship). For my part, I always stay at the "Governor's Inn", where the historical center of the old city begins. It is a five star hotel, with people available and all the amenities. The value is not measured by the monetary cost. They can make trips, walks, and ride a bike. There are electric cars. The central Church is beautiful. There are images of s. XVIII and an image of San Gabriel Arcángel that was 10 years in the Museum of München.
