Beautiful, nostalgic building that is well maintained. 
 The rooms are well kept and very clean, providing all the comforts of home and more. 
the staff is top-notch and have always provided excellent customer service. The location on the beach is mesmerizing and allows all to visit and experience the beach safely.
We are very thankful for the many many opportunities and experiences. We have been blessed with at the Inn At The Spanish Head Lincoln City.

Expected a lot better.

There was a storm and some loose roof flashing above our room was banging all day and night. Really annoying. Thankfully the surf was loud enough most of the time were it was difficult to hear the flashing. I looked at it and it has been that way for a while. I guess maintenance is not important to the owners.

Also the internet was really bad and spotty. I had to go to the lobby to deal with a minor business issue. This is 2023 and there is fiber optic running down the road right in front of the hotel. One would think that a higher end motel would have better internet by one would be wrong.

They can't ever keep the flashing nailed down.

I expected a lot better

We stayed here and the service was awful.  I have contacted the manager and still waiting on a reply.  The rooms are over priced and outdated.  They tried to blame the individual owners but I put the blame where it belongs.  On the poor management team.   please save time and money and do not go here.

My expectations were exceeded. While not new, the facility was well cared for—no peeling paint, everything clean, no musty smells. The food and service was good. The views were exceptional. Staff was attentive and friendly. A great place for solitude during mid week. 

Looking for solitude with comfort

This the fourth time , my family and I have stayed at the Inn at Spanish Head . We are from Canada , and love it there!  We have had the kitchen / studio rooms , but you cannot go wrong with any room..  and the views .. amazing! 
the Fathoms dining is probably the best meals I have had in a very long time, from breakfast to dinner; everything was delicious!!  when driving on the coast be sure to drop in .. its worth it!! the pool is heated and lovely .. everything is just fantastic!

Booked a room is was supposed to have a bar and King size bed along with a murphy bed a place to sit and work and enjoy the view.
What we got was a cracker box of a room with literally no place to sit but a tiny table and no power outlets. When we booked the room we said we need the larger room and wanted it on the first floor. No phone service, No internet service and we were there to finish working on a book which we told them when we booked.
It needs serious updating. The stairs to the beach are treacherous to say the least.
We frequently visit the coast for weekends and such and unfortunately we are taking this off of our list of places to visit in the future.

Beautiful Location Room not so much

Great location, wonderful interaction with every staff member we encountered. Interesting lay out with lobby on the 9th floor! We stayed on the 2nd floor just above the beach❤️ the restaurant fare is highly recommended with yummy cocktails.loved listening to the waves all night. Definitely coming back

My opinion.

Review of portly/overweight female restaurant manager only.

Last night, I went with friends to the bar on the 10th floor. Luis, our bartender, was fabulous and treated us like royalty.

We liked the atmosphere, we made reservations at the restaurant for tonight. The server, Manuel, was very nice and the food was good.

We were eating mindfully, and enjoying the remainder of our wine. 

The overweight manager walked over and said loud enough for all tables to hear; “we are eyeballing you and your table.” Inferring for us to leave; I thought she was kidding at first., but she repeated it sternly. 

I paid over $100 to be ridiculed in front of my friends; I was embarrassed.

When we walked out, the table next to mine said the manager should be fired for embarrassing us like that. In fact, they sat down only 10 minutes after us and they still had a good 20 minutes of meal and wine left.

Will not patronize her establishment again!

Horrible experience

I stayed at this place over  Labor Day Weekend and just yesterday, I noticed an additional $200 charge to my card. I was not informed that this would happen, nor was I contacted about it. The manager at the facility just decided to do it. 

I contacted the facility and left multiple messages for the manager, none of which were responded to, so I went over her head to her accounting department.  I am waiting for resolution from them, but this is tantamount to theft. I was told I was being charged for having a pet in my room. I do not have a pet nor would I bring one (if I did have one) on a romantic getaway with my lovely lady.  

No turn down service. Overpriced food and they had us make reservations for their mostly empty restaurant, which took over an hour to get us our order. 

I would highly recommend avoiding this place and for damn sure do not give them a card to secure your room. They will just charge you whatever they want.

Labor Day Weekend 2022

We spent 2 nights here for our son's wedding.  The rooms are supposedly "condos"...some have full kitchens, but our "King Deluxe Bedroom" was indistinguishable from any tiny, basic hotel room.  It had the usual small fridge, microwave and coffee maker and very basic decor.  There were obvious repair and maintenance issues (hole in bathroom wall, broken lock on slider door, thin walls, and signs of wear and tear everywhere.)  The king bed was uncomfortable with a stiff mattress and old thin pillows.  Positives were the balcony and view of the ocean, which were spectacular.  Chairs are provided. We heard other hotel guests saying  they had to call for building maintenance to come and fix things in their rooms after arrival. Overall the facility definitely shows its age, yet the price for a small room was steep, I suppose because of the view.    
We did enjoy the Fathoms restaurant for breakfast both mornings...meals were very tasty and reasonably priced, with lovely ocean views out the windows and attentive staff.  In fact all hotel staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the wedding venue was well organized.  Our son and daughter-in-law were very happy with how the hotel helped them plan and carry out the ceremony on the beach and the reception inside.  One of the staff even helped build them a bonfire on the beach in the evening so the wedding party could gather.  If we ever stayed here again we would ask for a larger, updated room if possible, and stay off season when prices should drop.
