Fantastic accommodations. You won’t find any better in the Homer Fritz creek area. Food is always the treat of the day. Never boring or mundane. Don & Sharron are the ultimate hosts. View is the best you will ever see. Have stayed there since first going to Alaska in 2008. There is an elevator for those who may need to get to the main floor.

Timber Bay is the best

We had a spectacular time. The place was exactly clean everywhere. The rooms and sitting areas are most comfortable. The view of the glaciers and bay are breathtaking and continuously vary so to give a variety of great photos. Don and Sharron are exceptional hosts, going above and beyond to make the stay comfortable and pleasant. They are experts of the area, and have many great suggestions and assistance for daily ventures.  And the food !   Great  filling breakfasts with great adventure stories to accompany is awesome.  A great all-around-place to vacation !!

All Around Awesome

Timber Bay B & B is a hidden, not to be overlooked warm and inviting home to stay in while visiting Homer.  The hosts are well-traveled and know how what their guests need to feel comfortable while traveling.  There is a wonderful tower overlooking Kachemak Bay and glaciers.  Most impressive is the home is accessible and has an elevator if you are unable to manage stairs and walk-in shower.

Super clean, new B&B to relax in Homer

We had a wonderful July 4th birthday weekend at Timber Bay B&B, and stayed in the canine room. One of us is vegan, and our hosts were great at accommodating with a delicious vegan breakfast. The room was very clean, with a super comfortable bed and very quiet and cozy. The area of Fritz Creek is just outside of Homer, probably a 20 minute drive to town. The building/grounds is still under some construction as it is brand new, but that didn't impact our stay. Highly recommend!

Cozy, Clean, Comfortable, and Welcoming!

Timber Bay Bed and Breakfast is an absolutely awesome place to stay. The Food is great, the rooms and place are clean and comfortable. The view is astounding. Don and Sharron are most wonderful Hosts and accommodating with everything.  Don and Sharron are also great in assisting with knowing  about the best things to do around the area during your stay.

Best Ever

The rooms are bigger and nicer than the pictures actually show. It is very quiet and easy to relax there. The drive to the B&B is stunning! The hosts are a delight and very accommodating. They make gourmet breakfasts and are a delight! We live in Alaska and will absolutely stay there again. 

Fantastic Stay

The views from this property are lovely.  Don makes wonderful breakfasts and supports whatever whacky schedule you may have based on your excursions.  The airplane room was large and clean.  Sharron leaves very detailed instructions and keeps everything fresh.  The surprise was having a helicopter land in the yard to take some of the other guests bear viewing.  Ask Don for recommendations on excursions, he is really good at it!

Great views, lovely breakfasts, great experience

I woke up every morning to a smiling and warm host waiting with a hot breakfast and coffee.  The views from every window in the main kitchen and dinning room area were of two incredible mountains with glaciers across the bay.  WOW!  The house was clean.  The rooms were cozy and comfortable.  Immaculate home! Don and his wife Sharron were super helpful and made great recommendations.  I would stay there again!  My wife and 15 year old loved the cozy cabin feel.  A must if you are looking to stay in the area.  It's only a 15 to 20 minute drive to all the towns hot spots.  They do have a no shoes on in the house policy, so be prepared to take off your shoes at the door.  Other than that, it was great!

Great Bed and Breakfast in Homer ALASKA!

Outstanding B&B.  We had a great time and we highly recommend it.  This B&B is located about 14 miles east of Homer so you are definitely not in town.  The view across Kachemak Bay was simply stunning. While we were having our 1st breakfast a Mama Moose and her baby strolled by the house eating in the brush located next to the house.  To top it off we were picked up by a helicopter in the backyard for our bear watching expedition by Kirsten (pilot) of Alaska Ultimate Safaris.  Don (B&B owner) recommended that we go on a bear watching tour and I am glad we did. He told Kirsten that if she picked us up in the backyard he would make her breakfast as well.  So, we had an enjoyable breakfast Kirsten.  After breakfast it was off to see the bears.

Great Stay and Stunning Views

Homer, Alaska has something for everyone! And to enhance your visit, stay at the Timber Bay B&B which is not far from town but when you see this place amidst views of mountains & Glaciers across Kachemak Bay you will be glad you did! And the gourmet breakfasts are not to be missed! I loved especially the Oatmeal Souflle and the Eggs Benedict...Gorgeous rooms, ample areas designated for guests  to lounge and take in the views, wildlife, and serenity. Don't miss the outdoor jacuzzi as your eyes feast on "in your face" glaciers! The hosts, Don & Sharron Cotogno, are hands on for your needs but never overbearing.
