Although the property appears a little "rustic" on the outside,  the rooms are excellent with new bathrooms and VERY clean throughout. The manager was outstanding. My partner has RA, so walking  up stairs is a problem. Initially we had a second floor room but when a first floor room was available the next morning she immediately moved us to the first floor.

We stayed in one of the suites directly on the river. It was clean and the view was amazing. Gardiner is such a cute little town with easy access to Yellowstone NP. We would definitely stay again!

The shower screamed but other than that everything was great. We loved the front desk lady

We booked a room either side of a trip to Yellowstone National Park. They stored our luggage after check out on the first stay and gave us our room much earlier than usually allowed on the return stay

Super quant, owner stayed up to wait for us when checking in late. Clean rooms, walked to town. Don’t have to pay a fortune and our room was huge!

The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and great at giving advice on where things were and dining options. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

Nice hotel within walking distance of the restaurants/bars in downtown.

This was a great no frills property in Jackson hole. Rooms were large very clean and comfortable! Surrounded by restaurants and shopping.

The office manager graciously upgraded our room to the house on the property.  The house is set up for 6 persons with a king bedroom, a queen bedroom, and additional daybed and couch in the living room; one bath; full kitchen; and laundry facility.  The bed was super comfortable--and this from "the princess and the pea" client.   There was plenty of closet space, hot water, and ample toiletries supplied.  Surprise, surprise: a housekeeper came in DAILY to clean, make the bed, and supply new bath linens without being specifically requested.  This was the ONLY hotel to do so on our entire trip.  Note that we stayed at 6 hotels during the trip; 4 of which were privately owned and 2 were big name chain owned.  This hotel was wonderfully convenient to all of the downtown eateries, shopping and art galleries, plus our church and the area hospital.  We were there for part of the art festival and Jackson was packed with little parking comparative to the need.  So, being able to walk everywhere was a real plus.  Of our entire trip, this was our favorite hotel and most pleasant stay.

The motel is superbly located, with everything within walking distance. Our room was large and clean, offering a comfortable stay. Despite the central location, it was quiet and we slept well. While the price is typical for the region, it still felt a bit high. Overall, a solid choice for those seeking convenience and comfort.

I didn’t realize when I booked this that I was renting a whole house! But it was perfect because almost all of my family of 6 got their own beds. The house was very nice and clean. It’s not right down town which is nice because it was quiet but it was still within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants. Overall it www great!

Clean, comfortable, close to town center (a few blocks) but not crowded and much more peaceful.  Very nice personal attention at front desk from longtime family owner (who answers the phone in person when called).  A bit cheaper than most motels near center of Jackson Hole.  Nice organic breakfast/coffee place a block away.

Average looking from outside, but room and bathroom very clean and comfortable. Actually had daily maid service; most hotels are now skipping daily service. Convenient outside your room door parking. No breakfast service, but only 2 blocks from Jackson downtown. Would recommend it and likely to stay there again.

Clean, comfortable, very spacious, great location! Great hotel for our family, as we wanted to spend most of our time outdoors and used our hotel as "home base."  Also, an unexpected situation arose back home during our stay, which required us to check out a day early and head home. The owner was so kind and accommodating, refunding our final night and wishing us well. Highly recommend!

Great location and space for a family

The Golden Eagle was a great place!  We had a giant room big enough for our whole family, although it was just the 2 of us. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about the area. The place is older, but very clean and it has been updated. We really enjoyed our stay.
