"This is the worst hotel I have EVER stayed in. 
1. The room stinks so very badly, like sewage. 
2 big hole in front curtain, no curtains over bathroom window. anyone can see in.
3. phone doesn't work, so walk to front desk to inquire about the many problems. 
4 no shelves or hanging bar, in wardrobe no shelves in refrigerator.
5. hot water in shower ran out after only a few minutes.
6 thin cheap wore out pillows, thin cheap sheets.
7. mold in bathroom. bathroom was nasty and even had an old dried bar of soap from formed guest.  The bath drain was plugged up and tub drained very slowly. 
8 no  working thermostat. you had to plug in an old stinky window unit that was covered in dust and put out cold but bad smelling air. Then unplug it when it got too cold. Unless you wanted to climb on counter tops to access the controls of the old unit.
9. when I walked to the main office to ask why the TV only had shopping channels, I was told
someone would be there to help me in 10 minutes...over 4 hours later, a rude little man walks up and sticks his face to my window...
I had windows open to try to air out the room. The owners smile at you while making excuses
for all the problems... we were charged 116.00
for this room. IT WAS AWFUL IN EVERY WAY.
NOT ONE SINGLE GOOD THING ABOUT IT. 
WE MOVED TO THE HOTEL 8 CLOSE BY.
GO THERE FIRST SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.  there is even more problems I could share but you get the picture.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PAY

We stopped here because the campgrounds and hotels in Colorado Springs were all sold out.  We were told about this hotel by the girl working at the Super 8 in Fountain.   They made us pay for the room over the phone before we even got there and said there would be no refund if we changed our mind.  We pulled off the highway and it was easy enough to find.  It was right beside a huge truck stop parking lot with lots of running trucks.  The facility was very old and had seen better days.  It was ground level and there was a window in the bathroom that anyone could stand and look in because it had no curtains.  A bit "creepy" especially since there were people constantly hanging around outside.  The people next door stood outside late at night and smoked beside our door.  We could hear everything they were saying and their smoke was coming in through the A/C which was right beside the door.  We could hear the trucks running all night from inside the room and the entire area smelled like diesel exhaust which made breathing uncomfortable.  The bed and furniture were all very old and left us feeling like it was a room from some cheesy B film where someone was going to bust the door down at any moment.  The couple running the hotel were really friendly and the check-in/out process went really quick.  It seemed like some of the folks hanging around the rooms in the early morning smoking were residents there by the way they all carried on.  There was no breakfast included.  It was all we could find so it was better than a Wal-Mart parking lot since it did have a shower and refrigerator to keep our water cold.
