I stayed here for 50 days. I will address the positives, and a few negatives. Overall, it is 5 stars from me. The biggest reason is that the staff is outstanding. I will add that I have stayed over 1,000 nights in hotels the past 5-6 years. Over 500 of those were spent in around 11-2 different Extended Stays.

The area: It is across from a great outdoor shopping, food, entertainment area, and the Daytona Speedway is a 2-3 minute walk. The downside of the area is that you will see occasional shady dealings in the back of the parking lot there (typically not people staying at the hotel) and at the mostly vacant mall behind it. The hotel is aware, and they regularly walk around the hotel at night. And police do patrol the area regularly. It is not unsafe, though, I'd park towards the front and avoid the back. Back to the good thing about the area - anything you need is nearby. Though the beach will take you 10-15 minutes to get to but its straight down one street and over the bridge.

The rooms: They are large, and mildly upgraded. You'll find some newer or some more fully renovated extended stays, but the furnishings in this are above par for extended stays. The cleanliness is decent. The rooms are spacious.
It is the best value for what you get that you'll find in the Daytona area.
Some of the guests are....interesting. Though, keep in mind, those staying longterm are paying $1,800-2,500 a month to stay there, so there might be a few who look a bit rough, but they're all going to be working people.

I go back to the staff. They are great. One other Extended Stay I stayed at had some really friendly hard working staff, but this is the only one in which every person is friendly and works hard. Ricky is the one I will single out the most as the friendliest and hardest working, usually working nights. If there is any problem, they'll deal with it. Any maintenance issue, the guy is usually up within minutes. The staff is great, and if you're staying long term, that will matter.

Great Staff - Great Value for the Price

We were traveling over many miles from Massachusetts to Florida, so we needed to stop for some sleep. We requested a late checkout, which the desk employee agreed to 1200, and said they would leave a note. Even before what normal checkout time would be, housekeeping was knocking on our door, which woke us from the sleep we were there to get, then the front desk called the room again apparently unaware that we had a late checkout. Then we got a call on our cellphone stating that if we haven't left yet, our belongings would be left outside. This was all before what checkout time was. At that point we left well before our approved 1200 checkout time, because at that point we were obviously not going to get any of the sleep we wanted. On top of that, they had tree trimmers in a truck outside making LOTS of noise starting at 8am all the way up until we left. We did not have a restful stay, however we did like the desk employee and the room was very nice.

Hassled to check out early!

I never actually got to stay at this hotel.  I booked it the end of November for the Daytona 500 race weekend.  They cancelled my booking in January stating my credit card was no good.  The problem with this was they had already charged my card for the first night so that was a lie.  They had just realized it was race weekend and wanted my room back so they could charge 3 times the normal rate for it.  I had to go through booking.com to get my money back so I would caution anyone from using this establishment.

Brigitte is the best she really helps an cares an Dwyane  all the staff are amazing. The hotel is amazing  an perfect for family.Brigitte  has such a great personality  an really takes her time to explain things to you and helps you with anything  that might come up without her I would have been lost thank youguys so much. 

Amazing  workers

The staff were courteous and quite helpful during my week stay. The room was clean and adaquate. Reservations were quite friendly. And they are pet friendly. Well done ! The plus side was the kitchen and coffee maker that came with the room. Had free WiFi. Not to many cable channels available on my television. The location was key. Central Daytona Beach. Close to everything.

Excellent accommodations. Absolutely no complaints. Will stay again. Grounds were well kept. Pool area very clean and pool clean. Plenty of parking and parking areas well lit. Front desk staff extremely courteous and professional.

Daytona 500

Hotel was close to Daytona Track, we only had to walk across the street and on our way there were places to eat. would go there again as it was better than others for the price but we were told hotel was to close.

This hotel was booked over six months ago for my husband and a few of his friends to stay during bike week.  We were looking for reasonably priced accommodations since they'd not be spending too much time in the room and at the time this place looked decent.  These guys are thrilled to be at bike week but this hotel is detracting from their stay.  It has been described to me as old, dingy, dirty and dark.  However, there are also issues with everyone's rooms such as a nonworking toilet that will be addressed today with management. Now we find out the hotel is closing very soon.  So, I guess the current owner of this chain just decided the quality of the rooms and overall premises were not important anymore.  Waste of over $600!  We will be letting the corporate chain know about this along with pictures!

Is there a way to give this place a "more than terrible" review?

most all other hotels were booked for the Friday and Saturday Night we were in town so we stayed there. The place is disgusting, very outdated, rooms were in bad shape bed spreads were dirty, kitchen area was clean but when you looked under range hood it was not good. for an extended stay there should have been plates, glasses silverware and a pot or two but there was none of that. The bath spigot almost came off the wall when knob was pulled for shower. 
No blow dryer.
Shower curtain had holes in it as well as window curtain.  under one of the beds was a condom that had been there for a while (Left it there).
