A little hard to find as Google maps lied about its whereabouts but a warm welcome awaited us when we arrived. Very friendly host who kindly gave us directions to local amenities. The ensuite room was lovely, really liked the woodland animal themed decor. Bed was comfy. Whole place had a warm homely vibe, reminded me of my grandma's house

Great value vintage style getaway

We stayed here for the night on 1/6/19 and we had a lovely room with ensuite bathroom, with homemade Himalayan bath salts for that home from home vibe. The hostess (we forget her name) was very friendly and welcoming, informative and efficient. We really enjoyed our stay, the room was of a high standard of cleanliness, with the facility to make tea/coffee, toast and have your own food there if you wished. We will definitely be back, thank you, it really made my birthday weekend away the best!

Unique vintage stay

Excellent stay loved it. Thank you it was a beautiful cosy place. They do nice bed and breakfast and the food is lovely home cooked. The place is clean and tidy and the staff are friendly and always helpful 

Weyside house

Very good location, the beach is 10 min walk from the guesthouse.
We had a pleasant stay, great price for what we needed.
Tea, coffee etc in rooms with a kettle and toaster.
Parking outside - Park in the street opposite, Alma Road, no restrictions.
About a 30 min drive to Durdle Door.
There's a great Brazilian restaurant called Sambo Rodizio, 5 min walk, amazing food. 

Great Location 

I had a good experience, the host was friendly and polite, the room had a cheerful decor, the toilet ensuite was clean and the shower was working well. A nice bonus was the netflix on the television. Free wi-fi was included too but I didn't use it myself so I can't say if it worked well.
There were coffee and tea making facilities and a toaster.
The house was quiet, I spent only one night there but I had a good experience and I would happily go back there again.

Me and my daughter stayed for one night and it was a lovely stay! Tony (Owner) greeted us with a friendly warm smile and welcomed us in to his guest house which was cosy and had a very homely feel to it! Our room was a family room with a king bed, bunk beds and a day bed. (Very comfy indeed) We had a fridge, kettle (with tea coffee etc) toaster, cutlery and plates. The bathroom and bedroom was very clean! This was a great place to stay! 😀

Warm, friendly & cosy

We were warmly greeted by the owner who showed us our room explained everything to us . Although very small the room was spotlessly decorated and well equipped. This place is perfect if you want a bed and breakfast situation without having to get up for breakfast. A toaster plates dishes are all provided with ample tea coffee etc . Also in the shower rooms they provide gel hand wash .we will deffo use again as it is situated within 10 mins of the beach etc .

Spotless

This guest house left me with mixed feelings. It was really dated and not in a quirky way ! the decor needed tidying up, it needed a clean. And, I have to say the mattress was shocking, the worst I've sleep on (or rather not slept in) in as long as I can remember. But then it had plenty of plugs sockets, free WiFi,  Amazon and regular TV, the location was good for town and parking was available albeit limited. The host was very friendly and welcoming and tea/coffee, towels, etc left out for you to replenish your room. The shower was old but worked surprisingly well.

Mixed feelings - consider your options !

Stopped here coldest part of year heating goes off at around 21:30 attic room gets very cold, as seems drunken Irish guy next room banging around till 00:30 maybe a permanent fixture,would use again at a push

Take a blanket

I don't think Vintage is meant to mean dirty but that's what this place is.  Our bedroom opened into the kitchen and when we were in the room it felt uncomfortable having someone else in the room next door.  The room was grimy, walls, carpet all paintwork, mismatched bedding and old off grey towels. I wasn't comfortable with the dirt. The only good thing is its well placed for the town and beach.
