I stayed here for a solo visit. Check in is easy in the afternoon. Shown around and to room. Single room very nice and comfortable. Tea and coffee making and water. Shower gel and shampoo and shower cap provided. TV in room 
Love the decoration, the rooms has character. 
Free wifi, I found phone signal isn't great. 
Breakfast was superb, choice of fresh fruit, yoghurts, orange juice, toast tea and coffee. All cooked food absolutely delicious and good quality. 
Not a long walk down to the beach, about 10 mins to town. There are a few shops and restaurants in nearby streets.
Parking can be a pain so be prepared to walk with your stuff.
John and Bernie are lovely hosts.
I would definitely stay here again 🙂


Solo visit

The room was comfortable enough and the breakfast hot and plentiful.
It is a bit tired and the ingredients are not from an artisanal butcher but it is a perfectly reasonable place to stay. Parking nearby can be an issue.

Bit dated

Excellent b&b - comfortable, spacious room & huge delicious breakfast. 

We took two dogs & a small baby with us and Berny couldn’t of been more accommodating, even sterilising the babies bottles for us. 

Easy walk to the beach & town centre & good location with free parking. 

We can’t wait to return!

We've stayed here for a few years when we've travelled to Cornwall - this is approximately half way from Lancashire.
Bernadette is a delightful hostess, looking after our every need and John's breakfasts are fantastic. Suggestions for eateries (dog friendly) were great
In other words, accommodation to be recommended.
Please let us back next year!

Excellent stay again!

Decided to try and have a short midweek break with my husband and his daughter (hubby has demenita)
Found this little gem that was ideal for us as daughter had a small dog. We were allocated rooms together and couldn't have been made more welcome. Rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast!!!!  set us up for the rest of the day. Definalty going to look at going again next spring. Location is ideal as just off the front, nice walk up to town and and lovely parks nearby

COVID-19 break!

We were made very welcome, and our room was spacious, clean, warm and comfy. What more can we ask??
Great choice for help yourself breakfast which included homemade cereals and jams. 
Very traditional B&B but that`s what we like!
Would stay here again definitely.

Very comfortable!!

A last minute booking for a couple of days in WSM.
Guest house is well located. Very close to the beach and easy walk into centre of town.
Hosts were welcoming, helpful and friendly but not overbearing as we have found some guesthouse owners to be.
Room was clean, well equipped and spacious.
Breakfast was great: self serve cereals, fruit and toast etc with a huge full English cooked.
We brought our dog: place is dog friendly and very relaxed about dog in the room.
I would highly recommend. Excellent value for money with no cheeky added extras: huge breakfast which your average chain hotel would charge fifteen quid a head for, no extra charge for dog and WiFi is free.
Hosts were really helpful and they made our stay very pleasant.

Everything one could hope for

Stayed here for a night out in WsM easy 15 min walk into town only a few mins from the sea front. Good size room lovely and warm but had to turn radiator down for me. Hosts really lovely nice to have a chat over breakfast rather than food just been given to you. Plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Will definitely stay again if need to visit WsM.

Traditional B&B, Lovely Hosts

We booked Camelia lodge for the weekend for my birthday, mainly because we wanted to be close to the sea & the reviews seemed good!   In general the house looked cluttered & very dated - looks like it  hasn’t been painted  for years!  The pictures do not look like a representation of the reality of room 1.    The bedroom was very cold, but when we tried to tell the owner this he was nowhere to be seen.  Indeed he didn’t even bother to meet me when we arrived. We went out for a walk  thinking it would be warmer early evening but it wasn’t.  It was cold and unwelcoming. We ended up spending quite some time finding alternative accommodation so that we could leave.  Although we got a refund we weren’t offered any apology for the fact the room was cold or the inconvenience caused in having to move! I would not recommend!!

Terrible place

I have stayed at Camellia Guest House on several occasions and wouldn’t wish to stay anywhere else whilst visiting Weston-super-Mare. 
Hosts and delightful, friendly, welcoming and courteous. Rooms are all charming and individual. 
Breakfast is gorgeous - although I’m rather boring as I always have scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Devine!! 
Highly recommend. Close to the seafront and city centre, but quiet.
