Traditional farmhouse set in a few acres of beautifully kept garden with lakes. Excellent breakfast provided by friendly host. Good location for access to St Ives and travel further west towards Land’s End and Penzance. Bathroom may be shared with one other room.

Stay in the countryside with fresh air and clear skies.

We were greeted by Our hosts who looked after us in every way possible . We stayed in the twin room with an amazing view of the gardens. We had a shared massive bathroom . The breakfast was great with a lot of choices fruit salad and yogurt and honey to begin with followed by a full English that tasted amazing . Our room was very cosy beds were comfortable. We highly recommend this b& b to anyone wishing to stay close to St ives . A big thank you to our hosts for looking after us .😊

Amazing stay

The owner Jill and her son Jeremy were so lovely and accommodating. The bnb is in a fantastic location and is close enough to St Ives to walk/quick drive but far enough away to avoid all the noise and tourists. The grounds around the house are very picturesque and if you have a spare couple hours it’s nice to walk around and explore. The breakfast was really tasty and there’s a lot of options and the rooms were very cosy and pretty. Really affordable for what it is. Overall a really nice stay and I’d highly recommend!

Loved it! Definitely worth the money

I stayed here for two weeks and then my daughter (19) joined me for the second. Can't praise the setting enough - staggeringly beautiful. The lakes are so beautiful, ditto the half hidden paths, the wildlife garden, and the startlingly blue hydrangea that look like surreal disco balls. If you want to walk to the coast it takes about 50 minutes - just ask to be directed to the 'back road'. No cars, an odd cyclist or two. and timeless views of the land and sea. Even some llamas in a field about halfway down. Gill and her son Jeremy are lovely, interesting hosts, and the house is gorgeous.

Absolutely beautiful!

Very comfortable gorgeous room. This property is amidst acres of land, with some ponds - at breakfast, the charismatic and wonderful hostess tells you the tales of an old trout farm they used to run, as well as many more stories about Cornwall. This was perfect as we were there for 2 nights and 3 days, where we drove to nearby St Ives (very close), Minack Theatre (40 minutes by car), Mullion Cove, Mousehole and more.

A warm and welcoming family run BnB with bags of personality

We had a lovely 4 night stay with Jill in her beautiful farmhouse.  The grounds are simply stunning, and so tranquil, despite bustling St Ives not being that far away.  The house is beautifully decorated and furnished.  Our room was lovely, and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! Jill made us a delicious breakfast each morning and it was beautifully presented.  We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Fabulous few days at stunning Sweetwater Farm

We stopped by and were made very welcome .. I loved the wildlife garden as you enter the drive with the wood piles for the animals to hide in .. such varied wildlife and often rare birds .. peace and tranquility.. not too far from bustling St Ives .. lovely house with an old farmhouse feel .. we had a wander round the ponds .. so relaxing and so pretty .. lovely rooms .. full english or continental breakfast .. would return 👍💕

2 night stay 31/8-1/9

My partner and I along with our son stayed here for 4 nights on 1st August 2018. Our room was lovely with beautiful views of the moors. The grounds were beautiful too. Jill the owner  along with her son Simon (lovely people) couldn't have been more welcoming. Breakfast was different every day with vegetarian breakfast too and good coffee!!. I would say this is one of the best places we have stayed. We walked to St Ives and took about an hour so near enough. We will definitely be staying again really peaceful and the beds really comfy I slept well every night which is unusual for me. Lovely.

Lovely Place To Stay

We stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful B&B. Jill the proprieter is warm & welcoming. Our room was very large with king size bed, tea & coffee making facilities & en-suite. The property is set in very large grounds with numerous lakes, absolutely stunning! The room was very clean with crisp fresh bed linen.  Breakfast was ample, including fresh fuit, cereal & cooked breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. Can not recommend this highly enough, would definitly return :) We told Jill we were staying to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and when we returned after dinner, found a bottle of prosecco in the room, absolutely chuffed! If you want to stay in the countryside, in beautiful surrondings that is in an ideal location for visiting the numerous hot spots that Cornwall has to offer, then this is the place for you.
