Absolutely absolutely fantastic. I’d rate it six star accommodation. The food in the evening was superb. Also the breakfast and the people that run it really nice people. Easy to find plenty of parking in a beautiful little quaint village centrally located for all the tourist attractions.

Six star accommodation absolutely perfect

Family two days away

We booked an overnight stay at The Red Lion Inn because we were due to visit the nearby Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre the following day.  The superior deluxe room was excellent, the outdoor space was great to chill out & relax, after we’d had a long drive there & the food was really great too.  Although breakfast is not usually served until 8am, they were happy to cater for us at 7.30 instead, as we had to check out by 8.30am. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff & we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the place or staying there again.

Great place to stay

The hosts. Gave us a warm welcome on entrance, the place is lovely with a generous outside outside area with plenty of tables, they rooms are lovely and modern and immaculately clean, I pre ordered eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was spot on!
Can’t wait to re visit!

Lovely setting, immaculate rooms!

I would just like to thank Christine for letting us stay at her beautiful bed and breakfast.
We had 2 rooms  one of which was in the main building and the other in the self contained unit to the rear of the building. The rooms were of a high spec and spotlessly clean. An ideal place to stay if you want to visit the local Lincolnshire villages,  and only 20 minutes from Ingoldmells, chapel at Leonard’s, and Skegness.
As for the breakfast it was beautifully cooked both mornings we were there. We also had an evening meal which again was gorgeous, the best rib eye steak I’ve ever tasted .
I also must add Christine was the perfect host offering to let my brother stay on for an extra night free of charge, due to our brother being rushed into hospital whilst there.
I would not hesitate in recommending her accommodation, we will definitely be back.

The perfect getaway

I stayed at the Red Lion Inn during a recent business trip in mid March 2024. The accommodation is faultless, Beautifully decorated rooms. Huge comfortable king-size bed. Bathroom is huge with a large walk-in in shower as well as a deep free standing bath. 
I also had an evening meal at the inn. Lamb shanks - absolutely delicious. Breakfast was equally delicious - I had the eggs benedict. All the food brought to your table. In addition to cooking wonderful food the chef was so accommodating and met the needs of our visit. The owner was equally welcoming and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble for her. So lucky to find this gem of a hotel. Thank you so much ladies for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful business trip

A lovely little hotel in a beautiful area. We could not fault this hotel, it was excellent from start to finish- excellent host, friendly staff, spotless room, amazing food, comfy bed and the attention to detail is outstanding, especially considering there are only two people who run the hotel alone! Excellent value for money. Their hard work certainly pays off. We will definitely visit again when we are back in the area- without a doubt. Lisa and Martin :)

Outstanding

Lovely village just off A52.Good parking. Went for evening meal. Did not feel rushed and had great service. Delicious food served by friendly staff. Attended to throughout the meal. Good portions and choice 

Comfortable eating area. Lovely food.

Had a one night B&B here after visiting the Lincolnshire Aviation Museum. East Kirkby is just a few miles away.  We had room 4 which is outside the main building and overlooks the garden/patio area. The garden is tastefully laid out surrounding the tables and chairs. The room was large with a separate en-suite bathroom and walk in shower. All very clean and bright.
Our dinner was obviously freshly cooked and attractively presented. We just had cereals, toast etc for breakfast so cannot comment on the cooked options but there appeared to be lots of choice .
We would highly recommend The Red Lion.

Ideal Place to Stay when visiting The Lincolnshire Aviation Museum.

My partner and I stayed with Christine so he could go for a taxi ride on the Lancaster at the nearby aviation Centre. Of course coming from London we thought getting a taxi would be no problem! We were wrong. Christine recommend the lovely Sarah from Ace Taxis, but she was busy on the Saturday of his flight!  So Christine came to our rescue and drove us there herself! This, on top of an absolute fabulous room, good food, and beautiful outdoor garden to sit it, just made our trip perfect!! Can highly recommend The Red Lion!  Prettiest room in a B&B we have ever stayed in. And shower was amazing!!  Hopefully we will be back.
