Freshly decorated lovely en-suite room. Very clean lovely comfy bed fantastic views.   Louise and rich were great greeting us always only a phone call away.  Offered to move his own car to enable us to park ours.   Perfect location between the 2 beaches

Great room

From pre arrival engagement and communication by Rich we knew that we had chosen the right accommodation that was personal and proudly serving the customers with that 1st class customer experience and nothing was a bother. We arrived after a long journey from Scotland and we were greeting with that personal and friendly northern hospitality and shown to our room. Everything exceeded expectations and the place was so well located centrally to every part of Scarborough within easy walking distance. Thankfully this was just what we needed and felt so relaxed and chilled supporting local people investing into delivering a wonderful relaxing atmosphere rather than the corporate don’t give a …… We will be back again and next time will book direct.

Absolutely stunning room with views of the sea “what a gem”

Booked with Booking.com - we weee informed about the stay through the time booked with any changes to the hotel. An hour before we arrived, Rich the owner phoned and texted us to inform that parking was a problem (sunny Saturday). He met us at the entrance to drop off bags and to give us a parking permit. We did find a car space in a side road relatively easily. 
The room (8) was a sea view and very lovely for 2 people. On the 3rd floor, the view was onto the whole of the beach in front. We sat and watched the sea from the good seats facing the window. Yea making facilities in the room- easy to people watch the surfers! The bed was comfortable and clean. Good spot for visitors like us for one night due to a concert at the open air theatre (15-20 min walk downhill).

We arrived to a lovely welcome . We stayed in room 8 , the view was to die for and we spend hours watching the world go by . Nothing was to much trouble and breakfast was great . Would we stay again most definitely YES

lovely friendly little hotel

I have booked our stay direct to the hotel which was cheaper than other ways (with the dates that we preferred), smooth process, and instructions were clearly given as we have communicated by email. As soon as my husband and I have arrived in the hotel, Jamie had been really welcoming and helpful with regards to the best routes to take to get to the famous tourist spots. The room that we got was really clean and well maintained. Overall, the La Baia Hotel have really lived up to the positive reviews and feedbacks that they received online. P.S. the breakfast was delicious. 😊

Wonderful Stay in La Baia Hotel

We spent a lovely three nights at La Bahia and would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
We stayed in room 3 which had a lovely view of the bay, it was very clean and was comfortable with a plentiful supply of tea and biscuits.
Breakfast was superb with local produce used and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nothing was too much trouble and Jamie ensured that everyone was kept safe and well in these challenging times we find ourselves in.
A very relaxing stay and one we will be repeating.

A lovely stay

Visited la baia at the end of October and what a wonderful place to stay, staff very friendly and couldn't do enough to help you, hotel was exceptionally clean and COVID secure, breakfast was fantastic and liked being able to choose what hot breakfast items you wanted and not just the standard full english being available. Would definitely return. 🙂🙂🙂

Excellent stay

A superb stay.  Location was excellent, the room was superb with an amazing view and the staff were brilliant.   Attention to COVID detail and regulations was very reassuring as my partner is in the vulnerable category.

I must give a special mention to the lady who served breakfast, she was polite, friendly and caring. It was like being served by my mum (although she wasn't much older than me!)  Thanks everyone for a great stay.

Outstanding hotel

La Baia is exceptionally clean and very well maintained! Everything is set out well and nothing is too much trouble, we stayed in a double room on the top floor and had amazing sea views and a slight view of the castle, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, plus the shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was well organised and there was plenty on offer, the food itself was always served hot and you could have as much or as little as you would like. Jamie and all of the staff at La Baia are fantastic, they are friendly and welcoming and do an incredible job everyday. We had a wonderful stay here - could not fault a thing!

Exceptional!

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Room was on the top floor which made the views amazing,  Bed was super comfortable and shower was hot with great pressure . Breakfast was delicious and you can get whatever you want including kippers or haddock. Bars and restaurants are a short stroll away. North and South Bay within walking distance and the park is only about 15 minutes away.
