Checked in 4 the weekend on Friday first impressions where okay stayed only one night as the stairs near the entrance where very unclean and there was no light in the hallway by the stairs as it was pitch black when returned bk on Friday night had to use my mobile phone light to get up the stairs and had to get a family member safely up the stairs aswell the hallway had a dried urine smell aswell the carpet was unclean the flat had some issues with uneven kitchen  strorge the bathroom had some dirty marks the bedroom looked like the bedsheets hadn't been washed the kitchen worktop looked Greeasy the only good thing about this place is the leather chairs in the living room called the owner dave to complain he was very rude and had a very bad attitude all because had a few complaints and told me not to book with them again spoke to another person and she was very upstanding and she offered me the refund the 2 nights didn't stay so I would say just double check everything b4 u book here with the experience I have had....

Un clean and not worth a stay

Lovely little guest house. Karen is lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful rooms, very nicely decorated and impeccably clean. There was a mini fridge which was wonderful as I had milk with me to make a cup of tea. Kettle and a selection of tea and coffee with sugar and sweeteners etc in the room. Comfortable beds and amazing service. We had fresh fluffy towels and a fan set up for our arrival, we even had some sweets placed upon the towels 😊. The window had also been opened to allow in the sea breeze. Breakfast was served promptly and was delicious. Good quality food and cooked perfectly. Fresh pressed coffee was also served and there was an option of tea or fresh orange juice along with a selection of cereal. The dining area was clean and bright and felt comfortable. Would absolutely recommend 👍🏻

Amazing little guest house with brilliant customer service.

Karen and Carrie were the perfect hosts.
Nothing was too much trouble. The Beachlands had everything you would need for a great stay. The room was spotless and had a great coffee maker.
The beach was a minutes walk and everything was on the doorstep.
We will definitely be returning!

Superb!

This is our 3 rd time here and it is fabulous.   The rooms have everything you need and are spotless. The little touches mean a lot 😀. The family are so lovely  and Carrie  especially is a lovely person .   The breakfast is second to none the food is fresh hot and more than sufficient to set you up for a bracing walk around the seaside town .  It’s in a very good position next to a car park on Scarborough avenue and literally 100 meters from central pier.    If you like a curry I would recommend Saffron at the bottom of the road. Flipping amazing ( thanks for the heads up Carrie )  overall the number 1 guest house in skeg vegas 🥰🥰🥰

Stayed here on a last minute trip , we was welcomed like family and the owner was simply amazing. The room was extremely clean, loads of room for a family,  the little touches like sweets for the children an bottled water in a fridge was lovely, the hotel is near to the beach and seafront but absolutely no noise so had a lovely sleep, beds comfortable too, then came the breakfast and that was AMAZING and plenty of it, the lady serving us Carrie was a gem and nothing was too much trouble , we definitely will be back , thanks Karen Carrie and Jack,  my kids miss you all

There was a couple of little things through holiday I wasn't happy about but no place is perfect. Then came the last night I received a nasty phone call off owner saying she believed I had broken the no hot food rule I explained i hadn't we only had drinks and snack for journey home next day I was then called a lier and told she had seen me on camera, I was confused and explained we only had drinks and snacks then she asked about the McDonald's and I understood as we had got drinks from there so I explained. She then asked what was in bag so I explained snacks for kids journey she said ok and hung up then the nasty messages started. She said she believed I had hot food hidden away in bag and as so she would be charging us. £75 was then debited from my account i asked why and was told she believed I had broken a no hot food rule I definitely had not I was so upset I tried to get another hotel for my last night unsuccessfully so I had to stay. The next morning she refused to talk to me and when my husband rang she made up complete and utter lies about us ripping down curtains and leaving water mark on desk which was already there (we only stopped a couple of days not enough to cause water mark ), however money was taken night before and room wasn't checked till next morning. I will include pictures of damage if possible that she claims we did as well as telling me she would take as much money from my account as she wanted. AVOID AT All COSTS AS YOU MAY END UP PAYING MORE THAN YOU EXPECT !!!!

Most unprofessional place

Lovley hotel  lovley hosts . Very welcoming.   All covid rules followed Pefect room.  Vey clean  Coffee machine all essentails in there. Very good location. And pefect breakfast.   Would stay. again for sure.

Honestly hard to pick a favourite part of this B&B - the breakfast was just amazing, the rooms all in excellent condition, and the hosts were warm and accommodating throughout the entirety of the trip.

Better yet, the B&B was the shortest possible walk from all the attractions (including the pier), meaning exploring the area was made simple and stress-free.

Absolutely going again

Disgusted hotel  Breakfast terrible made my kids feel 😷 sick  Very bad  in bathrooms Absolutely disgusted Would never stay it again Please stay clear if you have young kids Lots of drug use You can smell it in the rooms
