Stayed here for four nights in a family room. It felt really comfy and just like home. Very clean and a top up of tea and coffee every day. We was out all day so felt this hotel was perfect for us   Close and convenient to everything. Would definitely recommend. Coming back in September the owner couldn’t do enough for us

Helpful and polite hosts

Stayed in a family room, it was clean & tidy but very small. I kept banging my knee walking past the single bed it was that cramped. The free toiletries they advertise was a half empty packet of baby wipes, some hand wash & a bit of shower gel. A hand towel in the bathroom would have been useful.
Woke up to no electric sockets working as they had tripped out in the night. Was informed it was getting fixed after 10am, which coincidentally is check out time. So couldn't charge phones, dry my hair or boil the kettle. The owners did bring us some hot water for a cuppa when I asked for some though.
The shower was a joke, kept going freezing cold then red hot, not good while you're trying to rinse your hair off!
£160 a night for what I got is a complete rip off! Ive stayed in a 4* hotel in Chelsea for cheaper!
When I suggested they should offer some money back towards the stay for the inconvenience, the lady owner was very rude. Not an apology in sight for the electric situation!
Then as soon as I left the hotel I received an email saying my card had been declined even though I had paid in full on booking & received a receipt from the owner on arrival. Then I received an email to say my booking had been cancelled, even though I had already stayed there. This was done by them so I couldn't leave them a review on booking.com.

Rude, unprofessional owners, small cramped rooms! Absolute rip off!

We had a lovely stay,the family room was very clean and well maintained breakfast was optional and plenty full,  the owners were very friendly and helpful so we decided to book again for next year,our 5 year old loved it,the room did get a little warm so would advise taking a fan in the hot weather,looking forward to our next visit.

Family stay

Nice location on a quiet street just off the front. Parked on front of b&b. Room 3 first floor. Small room but very clean and comfy bed. Small shower and ridiculously Small toilet. Lovely greeting and made to feel welcome. Would definitely book again and prebooked breakfast next time.

Breakfast was lovely and they couldn't do enough to make us welcome.

wonderful stay

My friend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in August. When we arrived we could barely push open the front door as it clearly needed attention. We were greeted by the owner who simply gave us our keys and said we were in room 8 on the top floor. We asked to order breakfast but were told breakfast wasn't available due to Covid 19.  No breakfast in a hotel when covid restrictions had been lifted????? 
My friend is in her 70's and so struggled to get up to room 8 - 4 flights of stairs!
The room was a tiny weenie double room with barely enough room to walk around the edge of the bed. There was no wardrobe and only a hanging rail and 4 hangers. There was a chest of drawers but really for two guests for a stay of 4 days it simply wasn't enough!
The en suite was tiny and once the door closed, my friend had to open it to let me out as it had stuck! There were two towels and a foot towel but that was all. No hand towel for the sink and the water barely came out of the taps. The plughole in the shower was orange and slimy - didn't look like it had been cleaned properly and we had NO ROOM SERVICE, no fresh towels or replacement toilet rolls and the bins were not emptied for the whole of our stay. There was a note on the back of the door to ring the owner if fresh towels were needed but then some snotty comment about getting make up or stains on the towels which would incur more charges!
It seemed like the owners wanted the money for our stay without any of the requirements we would expect from a hotel. We only saw the owner on arrival and once when we couldn't get in and that was all. Wifi was free but rubbish on the top floor and under the bed( where we kept our cases) looked like it had never seen a sweeping brush. There was a handprint on the mirror and the front of the chest of drawers had had something spilled down the front of it. Attention to detail!
Generally a very poor experience at the Savona Hotel Skegness, there was no free parking either so were told we were "lucky" to have got a space on the road outside! a little under £200 for our stay which was a pokey bedroom and nothing more! AVOID!

Tiny room, no breakfast available.

We had two rooms.  The double had a very small toilet and shower in it.  The wash basin was in the bedroom it self.  When you came out of the shower , you had to go into the bedroom to get dry, it was that small.  
The second room was a family room.  We asked if it would accommodate a travel cot, the owner assured us it would.  On arrival, we put up the cot and there was no room to move around the bedroom.  The cot was between the double bed and the set of drawers.  The single bed was in the bay window also next to the cot.  You could not walk around this bedroom at all or place clothes in the drawers. You had to stride over the bed to get to the single bed to put the child to sleep.  I spoke to the owner and he said that the room was a family room.  The double room was £195 and the family room was £292.50 for three nights.   Very disappointed, we won’t be coming back again.

Very small rooms

Rooms are small but very clean,  ideal location close to all attractions. 
Lovely welcome , breakfast is extra but was worth it as it was delicious. We would definitely stay again.
Only one negative very limited parking .

Lovely hotel

We stayed in a very clean family room and the room had everything you needed. Only a short walk into the town. The host was friendly.
 Its best to get to skegness early as the parking is a nightmare. We found a space 10 minutes away from the hotel off the main road, which are free to park on. 

Clean rooms and good location. 

i messaged these 7 days before i was due to stay there to say my partner has tested positive for covid and is unwell.
so we wanted to cancel for obvious reasons
as you have to isolate for 10 days.

was advised by the proprietor that if she showed no symptoms it was ok to come
and if she did show symptoms just wear a mask and it will be fine!!.

absolutely unbelievable and unprofessional 
so they aren’t bothered about the welfare of other guests.

just interested in taking money from people.

beware this place and  keep away.
