The guest house is about 30 minutes walk from the city centre (£5.00 taxi ride) and 15 minutes from Old Sarum- so a good location. The owners were very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was very clean and quiet. Free wifi too.
My only gripe- which is picky is the tight turn into their car park-although having a car park is very positive.

This family run Victorian Hotel has free parking at the back. It has just the 6 bedrooms with en suite. When we checked in we received a warm welcome from Nat, who took our cases up stairs to our rooms. Mine had a bath en suite whilst my friend chose the shower in hers. The beds had memory mattresses, so comfy! The rooms were warm, clean & comfortable with the usual tea/coffee facilities & a good tv opposite the bed with plenty of channels. Fantastic breakfast, served by Helen. We were given a map with directions to the centre of Salisbury which we followed, walking along by the river. We stayed 2 nights & I would highly recommend.

This B&B was a real find. It's located about a five minute bus or taxi ride to downtown Salisbury. Close to public transport with free parking and wifi, the rooms were clean an welcoming. Our hospitable owners provided a map and clearly marked suggestions of things to see and do as well as some great pubs and restaurants. Breakfast included fresh fruit, a choice of cereals and cooked to order English breakfast with tea and/or coffee. This was a really enjoyable place to stay.

Stayed here for three nights with my sister, had two separate rooms.. Both comfortable & very clean.. Nat & Helen excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble, very friendly.. Breakfast flexible and good quality.
Near to all of the main sites in Salisbury..
Highly recommend staying here.


This guest house was conveniently located for our needs, and it is quite easy to walk into town (via a pleasant path through the park and/or along the river if you so wish); a bus  stop is also nearby, as is a co-op with a cash machine. It is beautifully clean, with nice décor, and the breakfast is fresh, tasty and plentiful, though the times it is served are relatively restricted (ask in advance about the options if you need to make an early start).

I think the mattress on our bed was memory foam, which was comfortable to lie on but tends to overheat me - check if it bothers you. I wasn't  totally convinced by the shower head being fixed to the wall high up - take your shower cap if you don't want wet hair, and be prepared to take a bath instead if you want thorough ablutions below the waist. NB there isn't a grab rail in the bathroom we had, so getting in and out of the shower/generously deep bath could be a little  tricky.

Our room and bathroom were nice and spacious, and the wifi worked properly, with enough sockets for recharging gadgets, and a well stocked hospitality tray. Our needs were very well catered for overall, and we'd be happy to visit again.
