We visit for a Star Wars event and I book a lot of rooms. Julie and all the staff are always extremely welcoming, the rooms are clean and well maintained, great parking, lovely beefeater next door. What more could you need? 

Always so welcoming

Never, ever again. The air con made me cough endlessly and caused breathlessness. I was right as rain once out of the hotel . 
The windows are sealed so no fresh air. It was horrible  and at night the room was far, far too hot. 
On the plus side the staff are very friendly and pleasant

Horrid air con

Very comfortable, clean and friendly hotel. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again. We were over looking the dual carriage way in a Premier plus room & there was no noise from the road at all, which surprised us. The bed was lovely and comfortable and spacious. The shower was fab & added bonus of a bath.  The beefeater next door was nice but very busy, due to school hols, so the wait to be seated was a little long, but food reasonably priced and nice. Would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone's future stay. 

Excellent!!

Stayed in the Premier Plus room, very nice, very clean and spacious. You only get one flat pillow each. For the price we would have liked breakfast included but it was worth the stay and would go again. 

One night only

We have used this Premier Inn for the last few years when visiting Cheltenham Races. This year it was my dad's 60th Wedding Anniversay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Service is excellent. This year our waitress at the Beefeater Jen surprised my dad with a cake. His face was priceless. Thank you so much to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

Hotel Stay

Due to us having some major building work going on in the house, we are having to stay with family. To give everyone a bit of a break (including my pregnant self and autistic daughter) we treated ourselves to a self care stay over night.
We asked for 2 adjoining rooms which were happily accommodated when we rang.
My daughter’s room was great. Ours was not. It smelt quite strongly of damp/mould.
Through the duration of the stay the poor standard of cleanliness became more apparent.
For fear of unsettling my daughter by changing rooms we decided to not mention anything until we were leaving.
We saw on the premier inn website that the good night sleep guarantee stated that if you didn’t have chance to speak to a member of staff about any issues you could contact guest relations after the stay and report issues.

The following morning we located the location of the mildew smell and found what we believe to be mould on the carpet behind the bed.

On our way out there was nobody manning reception so we left the key cards and headed out.

As we were walking though the door a male staff member wearing a uniform suit came into the reception area, he had a bottle of cleaning solution and a cloth in his hand so was clearly already occupied.

I held back from my family and made the staff member aware that our room (10) had evidence of mould and that it needed a good clean.
He apologised for the experience and I said that I would contact guest relations.

Upon doing so, I have been told that because we didn’t formally report these issues to reception during our stay we are not entitled to compensation.

So be aware, the good night sleep guarantee isn’t worth the paper it was written on.

Very disappointing.
Premier inn as always been our first choice and I have never had any issues at all in the past.

We have now completely lost confidence in a once trusted chain.

Disappointing stay 

Always stay here when visiting family , the rooms are clean spacious comfy beds ! Tea and coffee in rooms also wake up and go for excellent breakfast after having a comfortable quiet nights sleep would highly reccomend !

Another lovely stay at this Premier Inn. Friendly staff, comfortable bed and plenty of tea and coffee. Easy to find and plenty of free parking. Around 5 minutes drive to town centre. Breakfast at the Beefeater next door. Again great full English buffet for a reasonable price.  

Another great stay

Stayed here a few times, before an event! Always greeted by polite staff, room is always clean! Food, Next Door is amazing. Unfortunately we stayed when the weather was boiling Aircon was poor but staff provided us with a mini fan

The hotel room was very comfortable and very clean. The staff were very friendly. We booked the Premier Inn breakfast which was very disappointing. The food with the exception of the last day the food was cold or just warm. Fres food was put on top of cold food which is not good practice. The food temperature was not checked at all. This was the only disappointment with our stay as the hotel side was fabulous. Would stay there again but avoid the breakfast next time.
