lovely place, staff were really high and i saw a man hiding under the table so i decided to join him, it was quite good so i let my daughter play with the man the next day. She came back to the room traumatised :(

Family Weekend Away

I was there for a week, for complete lack of options. Everything said before is true: disgusting, uncomfortable, dangerous.I felt unsafe and it was so depressing I cried every single night I spent there.

Booked myself and children there it was disgusting it’s a brothel this place needs to be shut down we didn’t stay there in the end as we felt unsafe there was a bucket full of bloody baby wipes smashed windows hookers no cameras no security reception doors open 24/7 imagine American horror story but 100% worse

Avoid at all costs grab a sleeping bag and sleep in the street would be better.

The worst place I have ever stayed in, and that includes sleeping in the car. A maze of smelly passages. Took three rooms before we settled for a run down dirty room. The buiding is unsafe and should be closed down. At least it had a jug and TV. The shower was not mounted to the wall and was cold, there were holes in the wall, power points hanging out from the wall. Smelly and dirty. Left one night early and they did not care. The pillow, only one was smaller than you would give a child. Advise!! Do not stay there.

Worst Place Ever

The wife booked the place as a cheap one night stay after a day out. When you walk in to the foyer first impressions ain't that bad however once you get the key and step though the door to find your room the fun begins. Your first challenge is to find your room in the labyrinth of stairs and corridors all of which are in different colours and different states of disrepair from wall paper peeling of the wall to plain old holes at one point one of the corridors had no light at all at which point I had to stop and think if maybe by accident I had walked into a very realistic looking hunted house. If by some miracle you manage to find your room you will be thrilled to find it is as bad if not worse then the endless corridors. Our room came complete with a bed that looked like it had gone through both world wars and had the bad luck of getting bombed both times also I would like to mention the pillows on said bed as I honestly have never seen pillows so flat it's really rather incredible. We also had room mates there where too many insects to name so I won't bother. Our room also came with a toilet with no seat or handle so that's quite the accomplishment well done Birmingham best inn. I ended up driving home not much else I can add. So if your in the area I strongly recommend not staying here you can do better like a public toilet or a pub car park both of which would smell better too

This hotel is dangerous. Exposed wires hanging out of the walls, fire alarm has 38 faults and sounders all turned off. 

Everywhere is filthy, no hot water, no towels, the sink hanging off the wall, the power of the shower was so rubbish the water didn’t reach the bath. Windows smashed in the room, holes in the walls. Carpets shrunk from years and years of who knows what, wall paper peeling off the walls. The bed must have been as old as the carpets and all I could feel were springs.  I didn’t chance getting into bed and slept on top for fear of catching something.

This place is a death trap and should be demolished.

Worst Hotel on earth!!!

Disgustingly filthy throughout,toilet black and no handle,light fitting hanging off wall with exposed wires,mould round window,plaster faling off walls in bathroom ,sink tap hanging off,no plugs,carpet dangerously thread bare.This place is not fit for habitation and they have had the brass neck to change its name to "sparkle" someone has had a laugh .

DO NOT STAY HERE EVEN IF IT WAS FREE YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF ON A PARK BENCH.
