A very enjoyable stay, whilst attending a Wedding in the area. Excellent rooms and a great night's sleep. Enjoyed the food at the attached restaurant. Good parking too. For me though, it was the quality, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff that marked this PI out as outstandingly enjoyable.

Amazing

Horrible night stay, stank of cannabis in the hall way when i first arrived. 

noisy all night with banging doors that did not stop until people where getting up for their day. 

shower ran hot then cold constantly which was just a horrid experience, all for £78 per night. absolutely ridiculous.

worse place to stay in Northwich and possibly the UK

My wife and myself have just had a lovely 6 night stay at this Premier Inn. We use Premier Inns a lot and normally are more than happy with our stays. 

The Northwich south hotel met all our expectations.  We were accompanied in the annexe which was joined to the pub/restaurant. The room was clean, well maintained and quiet. All the staff were helpful and friendly. 

We chose this hotel because we wanted to visit the Anderton boat lift and Jodrell Bank and it is well located for both.

I would highly recommend this Premier Inn

Lovely stay with comfortable quiet and clean room. Helpful and friendly staff.

Chose this Premier Inn for our midpoint stopover between Edinburgh and London. Not too far off the M6 and has plenty of car parking – although no chargers for EVs. 

Received a warm welcome on arrival, and allocated a ground floor room in the same building as reception – which was clean and tidy, with the standard tea and coffee making facilities. 

Hotel is close to the River Weaver, which can be accessed via the Kingsmead development. So we enjoyed an easy afternoon riverside stroll to Hunts Locks and Northwich town centre, and back. 

As we’d booked a meal deal, we had our evening meal and breakfast at the Woodpecker Cookhouse & Pub. Despite the restaurant being large, it was extremely busy in the early evening. So making a table reservation at check-in, like we did, is recommended. Food was good, and service from the guy in charge was great. Breakfast was cooked to order, and was excellent. Far nicer than eating things that have sitting in hot trays for ages.

If we happen to find ourselves in that area again then we consider staying there once again.

Good Stopover Hotel

This is possibly THE worst Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. I'll start with the positive (the only positive), the staff were friendly and helpful. The negatives. £119 for a small double room that had a seriously small bathroom. Opened the curtains and the curtain rail came down, the rooms are dated and in dire need of an upgrade. The toilet and/or basin had been fitted at a slant so felt ill just sat on it. The bed (which at Premier Inn are usually really comfortable) was uncomfortable and lumpy and again felt like it hadn't been built correctly as it was on a slant like the toilet/basin. There was no Wi-fi in the room, yes, I connected but as soon as I closed the room door from the corridor, the Wi-fi disconnected. I'm not one for writing bad reviews and would prefer to talk to staff on checkout......but there was no staff on the desk Sunday morning, I stood waiting for 5 minutes and gave up, so decided to write this review. This is one Hotel that Premier Inn seem to have forgotten about and needs some attention to bring it into the 21st Century. I 100% won't be booking this hotel ever again. 

Woeful excuse for a Premier Inn hotel 

Couldn't fault our stay.  We had two adjoining rooms, which were lovely.  Spacious and no issues.  The adjoining door wasn't unlocked when we checked in, but the staff did this during our outing for dinner.
The staff were pleasant, and most helpful.  The staff on duty at breakfast were helpful and very friendly too.  
The pillows and bed were comfy for our two nights, as well. Usually you can't get comfy with pillows when staying elsewhere, but I was most surprised about the pillows in our rooms.
We need to return to the area in November and already securing our stay there again.  Would recommend.

Couldn't fault our stay.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral in Cheadle.  I specifically chose it as it was away from flight path yet not too far from Cheadle. We were all very pleasantly surprised by how friendly all the staff were, how comfortable our rooms were, how easy it was to get parking (we arrived very late at night), how clean the whole hotel was and how tasty our breakfast was the next morning.  The staff at both locations, the restaurant next door and the hotel were so helpful and kind.  It was such an enjoyable experience despite the purpose of our visit.  We arrived tired and stressed after a long journey up the M1/M6 from London but could not fault anything and had a restful nights sleep, were fed well and ready for the day ahead.  Will definitely revisit this hotel for future trips to this part of the world when visiting family and friends.

Ideal for visiting family in the area

If you want a bad experience, stay here...
Awful stupid taps, you cannot properly wet shave 
Outside bins overflowing into the carpark, with fast food containers because only half the food menu is available.
Stains no cleaned all week I was there. sweet wrappers everywhere.
No milk available in reception for your room.
And the worst internet on the planet - 5 nights with Ultimate Wifi, only worked for 2 nights.
One lift broken 
Place is on its knees.... 1star at best

Poor Service, Food, Cleanliness, and it goes on

We arrived at 14.35 and after queuing, we were told that we would have to pay £10 to go into our room before 3 pm! Our room was ready, not a good start! Room was very hot. The toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Very dirty. The shower soap dispenser empty. Staff were overwhelmed and seemed very unhappy. Always liked Premier inn so this was a disappointment.
