This premier inn is looking pretty tired & needs an overhaul!  It’s v noisy on the ground floor - despite all the notices asking guests to be considerate it sounds like a herd of elephants on the stairs and in the 1st floor rooms.
The room was spotless clean ( well done ladies! ), and as usual the reception staff were terrific, especially the lady who helped me sort out my faulty mobile phone! The best things about prems are the staff!!

Wonderful staff, if only the hotel was as good

Our visit was great value for money! Jean & Clare gave us a really warm welcome and drinks for us & activities for our girls were provided in our room on arrival! We’ve never experienced this level of service at a Premier Inn before so after a long drive this was really welcomed! Thanks Jean & Clare!

Great visit, excellent value for money!

We had a lovely three night stay in the Premier Inn Lichfield North. Claire and Sarah both went above and beyond by making our stay comfortable as possible. The chocolates, sweets and kids colouring in packs were a lovely finishing touch. Would definitely recommend.

Easter Weekend Stay

A lovely clean and comfortable room. Great, warm shower and a friendly welcome from the staff, Claire and Sarah. Just what we needed for our orienteering weekend! Lovely that they are collecting for GOSH at the front desk too for breakfast!

Just what we needed!

Very lovely and spacious rooms! Pillows were very comfortable and beds were lovely and warm. We made excellent use of the kettle in the room which was very handy and we were even able to purchase breakfast from reception. Clare and Sarah did an excellent job on making the room look clean, tidy and welcoming before our arrival.

Excellent experience at Lichfield North Premier Inn

The things you can guarantee from a Premier Inn is comfort, cleanliness and great people.
The receptionist (I missed her name - I think it was Sharon) was new but she made every effort to make everything run smoothly. I had made an error, booking a room for one when we needed two beds. She happily sorted out another room for me.
The room was spotlessly clean - the cleaning staff had done a super job. I thanked the ladies in the morning as so often their efforts are overlooked. 
The bed was comfortable and I had the best night’s sleep I’d had in four nights.
My only criticism was the internet connection came and went but when I mentioned it next morning I was told I should have come down and they would have given me the Ultimate package. 
There’s no on-site restaurant but the reception gave us a list of good local restaurants and takeaways/delivery
So, my thanks to everyone at Premier Inn.


Brief stay but clean and comfortable

Got a call today Saturday to say the pub serving food closed down last October!…. 0 out of 10 for making a note for people booking. We are staying in 3 days time, breakfast where we can find it eh!…very poor. Been staying Premier Inn since they started so not happy.

NO FOOD HERE!

Chose to stay here for convenience as it was on our route but had little expectation as no restaurant attached or aircon and on A38. What a surprise we had as we drive up we saw a lovely original building, easy parking. Went to reception where we were greeted by Tiff? She checked us in while chatting to us about our reason for staying and discussing how far we had travelled. She offered us a list of places nearby where we could eat that night or for breakfast. She pointed out that we could help ourselves to additional tea/coffee etc if needed. When we got to our room it was up to the usual good standard and had a large fan ready for me to use only downside was tv is small and dated but wasn't a problem as we were out most of the time. We went out to the horse racing that evening and when we got back Tiff was just swopping over shift with Tom She remembered where we had gone, asking how we had got on and telling Tom where we had been. Admittedly the hotel is slightly tired in places but overall we were so unexpectedly impressed with everything we are looking to travel slightly out of our way to use this Premier Inn when next travelling  in region

Great staff

From arriving at the car park to leaving in the morning the whole experience was superb. Greeted by a welcoming receptionist and quickly given the key to my room, advice on parking was readily available and the car park being covered by CCTV was a bonus. Room was clean, spacious and well laid out with a view of the car park so I could keep an eye on my bike. Good selection of hot drinks provided and all the usual, tv, hair dryer etc etc, bathroom was clean and the waterfall shower was powerful. Bed was clean and very comfortable, a very good nights sleep!  Only slight problem was eating as the Pub next door was closed down but plenty of pubs close by in Lichfield etc.

GREAT COMFORT AND SLEEP WELL

On arrival a large empty car park. The place looked like us was under a demolition order! It’s better to stay in The Premier Inn at the city centre definitely not this one! It’s annoying to be informed that the adjacent restaurant/pub is permanently closed AFTER we had booked when we got the confirmation email.
