Absolutely fab mini break we stayed for four nights kids loved every minute I really recommend it here great location The lady who owns the farm is genuinely lovely so nice and helpful everything was clean and tidy very cosy and quirky, beautiful views would definitely visit again ❤️

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Leek Camping Barns. Alison is a wonderful host. 

The barns have everything you need and are clean and comfortable. The compost toilets are clean and do not smell. The site  brings the feel of real camping without the hassle of setting up. 

Each barn has it's own allocated firepit and covered outdoor dining area. 

If you love camping then this is the place for you.

I’m sure you’ll welcome that the owner loves animals and has a very welcoming attitude to your pets ,you feel instantly as ease and relaxed by Alison that you can enjoy your stay with them , there is shelter outside , fully fenced grounds for them to play and sheep and views to the next field , there is a compost dog toilet and scoop also provided , and lots of fresh water to fill up your bowls !! 

We rented both barns as to ensure sole use of all amenities to ourselves as we had a long stay and 3 hounds !

Alison came everyday and made sure our toilets / showers were disinfected and cleaned which wasn’t expected atall even though your toilets are compost they do not smell , and are super super clean and sanitary ... 

Beautiful out side eating shelters with log stoves inside ,with beautiful hand made seating that adds that little bit of character and personality to the area 

Both barns are huge !! And can easy accommodate a large family in each  and the mattress provide an excellent sleep .. 

Absolutely everywhere inside is marvellously clean 🌟cooker / fridge/ floor /beds.

A charming and superb long stay , a farm barn with the love of a home ❤️ 



Stayed 1 night as a stopover and really loved this pretty little barn!  The area is really beautiful and our host was lovely and showed me around!  Felt comfortable even in the current times and would stay again!  Definitely recommend as a step up from camping.  Thank you for our lovely nights stay x

Just arrived home from a weekend at Padwick Farm, and what a fab little find!!!!
The barns are great, the kids had a wonderful time, all the little additions are a lovely thought by the owner, and she definitely knows how to look after her guests!!!
We will return for sure and I would highly recommend!!!

We visited leek camping barns after a long day at Alton towers, when we arrived the lights were all on and water in kettles, all ready for us to settle in for the night :) wood on all the fires ready, we bought some wood but wish we bought more lovely sat around the fire at night! 
Beds were comfy and handy light and plugs on all beds as u can imagine the teens loved this for their mobiles! The toilet was unique and the kids weren’t that impressed with it lol but it did the job! 
Loved the outside sheltered part with the fire was very cosy on the evening.
The rooms had everything we needed :) pots and pans, utensils, plates dishes even had washing up liquid, I think we over packed we didn’t need half what we brought as it was there waiting for us it was better than we expected and will definitely return!

Stayed here for 2 nights for the 2nd time and it was fantastic as it was before, outdoor camping experience but with the extra warmth of a brick barn, lovely host who is friendly and welcoming, this place has everything you need,  we will be staying again, thankyou

I was doing my Queen Scout Award and needed to go on 4 hikes each day over a long weekend Fri-Mon with my friends there was 7 of us in total aged 18-26. Alison the owner was a lovely women and very helpful. In my opinion the top barn was perfect for us, with 7 people and heating we was all nice and cozy. There are some green mats to use as large pillows which was helpful with our roll mats and sleeping bags. The cooker and fridge in the barn worked very good with pots and cups supplied and Wifi. The toliet's and shower room is just outside the barn in its own shelter with 2 lovely campfire circles,  a sheltered BBQ area and seat area and a converted trailer in to a indoor picnic areas. There is a pub and garage/spar shop 5 mins walk down the road and a asda a 10 mins walk from the barn and plenty of scenic walks around. I went on long hikes to The Roaches(3-4hrs) and Thor's Cave (3-4hrs)to walk there with short walks to Rudyard lake (1hr 1/2) and Tittesworth Reservoir (40mins). When arriving look for the sign Leek Camping Barns you can pull in and park there. Me and friends had the best stay even during storm Freya and will visit again and recommend it for people who love camping but want a shelter and not tents as it's cute but basic barn and allows dogs.

I came here with a large group for my birthday. Despite the rain we had a fantastic time at the camping barns, cooking on the stoves and playing games in the outdoors areas. Alison was very accommodating with our check in/out times, and provided info on what we would need beforehand. The views and walks around are lovely and the sleeping areas are cosy and rustic. I rented both barns for a good price which did not change after I added extra guests - far cheaper than anywhere else in the area. I would certainly recommend this place and will return when I next have a big group coming to visit. Thanks very much!

This i must say Was an experience. . Grandchildren absolutely loved it. Very basic but was a fab we had chickens running in and out of our barn . A baby calf was born while we were there. It was very basic but we had a lot of fun.here and was very cheap to stay here. A spar within walking distance. .but took almost every thing we needed. Except matches. A necessity of you lighting log fires and fire oits. Was only 20 mins from Alton towers. Which was handy for us.

We stayed with our 7 month old daughter in the top barn just for one night as we have family in Leek. It was a bit of a test visit as a newish family as we’d not been away with baby before but everything was perfect. We absolutely adored the barn setup (we hired the entire top barn) and all the facilities are fantastically done. Having been very outdoorsy prior to baby’s arrival, this suited us perfectly and we can’t wait to come back for longer. Thank you very much for such a warm welcome and we will be back soon! 

Absolutely perfect!

Eight of us stayed 2 nights in the bottom barn (4 adults and 4 children). We happened to come across this by chance but what a find. Such great fun for the kids and in such a lovely setting. The dogs were welcome too at no extra cost. Perfect setting for views across the countryside watching the weather draw in and the sun set. Beautiful.
Everything has been so well thought out with some really neat finishing touches. Cute stools, log burners, a shepherds hut and ready made campfires each morning!Took a while to get used to the compost loo but highly entertaining. All the joys of camping but with solid walls, an electric cooker and a fridge freezer for the beers! 
Perfectly located for a walk into town and a short distance (by car) from The Roaches which is well worth a visit. 
Would stay again In a heart beat. Thank you.
